so cute and romantic! my boyfriend and i had a wonderful time. the server recommended the squash ravioli for him and it was incredible! i got the quail which was very tasty as well. will be back :)

it was great experience with kind staff and quick service. The drinks could be improved almost no non carbonated drinks offered, I had to get an orange juice that was a little on the smaller side. but over all great time would go back

This is a consistently great place to eat. Brunch and lunch and dinner are all good. Food is fresh, healthy, and well-thought out. Great for a special meal or nice family dinner. Appreciate that service is always so pleasant, consistent, and thoughtful.

Super charming! Delicious food. I loved the Truffle Mushroom Ravioli. Best meal we had while on vacation in Santa Cruz.

I'd like to give Gabriella's Cafe a higher rating, but our experience there was mixed. The food was tasty, inventively prepared, and generously portioned. The service was a bit slow, but basically okay. The disappointment was with the wine. The list is long, with some unusual choices, thus better than the generic options that so many restaurants have. Because of not being familiar with most of the wines, we stuck to those that were available by the glass, so that we could have a taste before ordering. On that basis we chose the Storrs Petite Syrah, but when the bottle was opened, we noticed a very slight musty smell which we mentioned to the server. She seemed not concerned enough to check with her wine person, and the mustiness was so slight that we doubted our own senses, and accepted the bottle. That turned out to be a mistake. We took the unfinished wine home with us, and by the following evening it was more strongly apparent that this bottle was seriously "corked." It was a shared error. We should have trusted our senses, and our server should have taken our initial impression more seriously and offered an alternative.

Stepping into Gabriella Cafe is a sudden trip to Italy. The feeling is very intimate, and the pace makes you relax. The menu is a challenge because so many choices look really attractive. This is a great spot for a personal or business lunch or a romantic dinner. It also keeps getting better over time.

Our lunch was delicious! We 4 each had specials, and all 4 of us were delighted with how scrumptious the meals were. Service was prompt and sweet.
