The Gables Restaurant is pleased to announce that we are now open!

The Gables Restaurant in Newgate Street Village is the social hub within the local community, we are conveniently located for Cuffley, Potters Bar, Hertford and Cheshunt offering fine dining with a range of Mediterranean cuisine.
Whether you’re celebrating with friends and family or planning a romantic dinner for two our relaxed atmosphere is sure to provide the perfect setting. We also offer seated and buffet style party functions in our cocktail bar area or for larger parties in our restaurant area.

Lovely meal last Saturday, food delicious, service great, manager and waiters full of great banter and professionalism - thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will be back.

Such a lovely evening at The Gables celebrating a birthday. Theo and his team were friendly and attentive. The food was really good, we especially enjoyed the sea bass and the octopus.

We had a wonderful Fathers Day lunch with the whole family and the food and service was excellent.

Great atmosphere and nice upmarket surroundings. Food was delicious however the Father's Day 2 course menu felt very overpriced. Kids menu was limited choice and no option for a child's starter which meant we had to order bread to keep them busy. Service was patchy, forgotten drinks and wrong order brought out but staff were quick to rectify (altho no recompense offered!) Nice for a special occasion but once we had seen the bill, won't be back again in a hurry.

A wonderful restaurant. The food is excellent and the staf couldn't be more friendly and helpful. We love this place.
