We went to celebrate a birthday and did enjoy our evening. The wine and sides were delicious, but our steaks were cooked wrong. Our sides came out mixed up with another table of the same size. After a few trips the waiter got it right. He was very nice. The biggest thing was the Tomahawk steak was ordered medium and after a recook it was still rare. Since 3 of our group were sharing it they just didn’t send it back a third time. It was very hard to chew. We took it home and cooked it the following day with brunch and it was much better. We did go to the bar afterwards and our drinks were fantastic. Great ambiance and nice staff, but not a good value for the quality of the steak’s preparedness.

Alec (Alex) our waiter was phenomenal! The hostess was super sweet! The food was amazing! We said it is the “Capital Grille” of Wilmington. Thank you for a terrific experience! We will return!!

Great experience all around! Service and wait staff were high end. We got the Australian wagyu and linguine and clams. Started with the wedge salad and shared the mac and cheese and truffle fries as family style sides. Wagyu was perfect! The linguine and clams had a unique twist more tomato parmesan based - not the traditional white wine/garlic sauce. Very well prepared and delicious, just a very different flavor profile. Sides were fantastic!

Dinner was fantastic. We had the bread, my husband had three oysters (very good, light), the wedge salad (very garlicky, bacon was smoked and added depth to the salad). We split the NY strip (cooked perfectly) the truffle macaroni and cheese (delicious) and the Brussels (my favorite part of the meal). To finish we split the crème brûlée which was the perfect end to a delicious dinner. We do not live in Wilmington, but if we did I could envision this being a very expensive but delicious habit.

As usual with all of Giorgios Bakatsia's restaurants, the food is exceptional. This was my first chance to try G Prime, and we were not disappointed. It is not an inexpensive experience, but for a special occasion well worth it. The staff was extremely good, and the sommelier was very helpful in suggesting a moderately priced bottle of wine that would fit our two different menu choices. For those interested in something other than steak (which is very good), I highly recommend the Double Cut Rack of Lamb!

Excellent place for steak or fish dinner. A little noisy but doesn’t interfere in conversation . A little pricey but what isn’t these days.

One of the best dinning experiences we have had lately. The food and service were top notch. Very friendly and elegant atmosphere. Alex was excellent. Thank you for a delightful dinning experience.

I've been to G Prime 3 or 4 times now every time it's consistently fabulous service and wonderful food it is a little pricey for off season dining but it rivals any of the other five star Steakhouses in the area
