FYR represents the metaphorical hearth of downtown Columbus with the centerpiece of the kitchen being a wood-fired grill led by renowned Argentine chef, Sebastian La Rocca. Located within Hilton Columbus Downtown, the use of fire & smoke is incorporated into every dish to bring the historical ritual of cooking over an open flame tableside. Please join us at FYR Short North as we bring you FYR meets Fashion: An Evening of Culinary & Fashion Elegance featuring local Argentinian curators Chef Sebastian La Rocca of FYR Short North and Fashion Designer Leonardo Munoz of ALEX VINASH NY. This fashion-forward event will combine stylistic glamour with the elegance of a sophisticated dining experience. This experience includes dinner with an interactive runway show with sounds from DJ Notta. The show will begin at 8:30 p.m. Payment due at the end of service.

Loved FYR. Went there for my birthday and they did NOT disappoint. We had an amazing server- wish I remembered her name. Service, food, drinks, and ambience were amazing. I love steakhouses but I also wanted something that had many options due to having vegan/dietary restrictions in my party. It’s hard to find menu options as extensive and as good as FYR’s at other high end restaurants. Additionally, I’m a sucker for Latin food/drinks and this menu did an amazing job of catering to that- the ceviche starter was amazing and the Caipirinha cocktails were out of this world. There’s nothing like FYR in Columbus- it was extremely unique and hearing that the head chef is from Argentina made it all the more better. I felt comfortable in knowing the Latin plates I’d order would taste good and authentic.

Such a disappointment. I asked for a Tanqueray martini with olives to start and was served the filthiest martini I've ever tasted (the color was neon green and it was a salt bomb that was undrinkable). That should have been my first clue I was in for a rough evening. Luckily my partner explained that I never asked for my martini to be dirty so they made another one at no cost, which I was excited for, but what came next tasted like lemon pledge. I'm not sure what it was, but it did not taste like Tanqueray. Next the charred provolone appetizer was fine albeit a little salty, but we didn't mind. For the main course we asked the waitress which was superior between the salmon and the branzino and she quickly responded the branzino was a favorite. The menu did not specify it was deboned table side which was uncomfortable to watch as the fish was macerated and half the bones remained in the chunked up mess left on the plate after the waitress left. At that point,we opted not to order more and I went to the hotel gift shop to buy some chips as the meal outside of the appetizer was inedible. I expected way more.

Outstanding experience. Awesome service and amazing door. Parking couldn’t be easier. Lots of really great veggie options including especially the plant-based filet. Highly recommend.

My friend and I went to FYR last night for the first time and WOW everything was amazing! Our server was kind and knowledgeable about the menu, the chef stopped by and went over menu recommendations, and the manager stopped by to see how our experience was. We got the empanadas, chilled wood oven roasted tomato, ceviche, the gnocchi and the pork chop Milanese. The cocktails were amazing too. Amazing service, staff, food, cocktails, and ambiance :) 10/10 recommend

This is the second time we've dined with FYR, this time for our anniversary. The food is just amazing, so much so we got the Gnocchi and Salmon again. Chef Sebastian being a presence is really refreshing. You can tell he is passionate about food and people. Will be back again!

Such a fun night! My friends & I started our girls night there & our waiter was so nice & brought us a round of shots! Environment, food & music was all so fabulous! The head chef came & introduced himself as well which was so sweet!

Every thing but the cauliflower entree was delicious. Service good. People see teens coming and don’t start off too warm but that changed quickly. Will try it once more.

It was overpriced. The food was good but not great. My fish was full of bones. Not delicious. Too expensive compared to quality.

The food and ambience were top notch. The tomahawk steak was phenomenal. Compliments to the chef! The server was outstanding as well. Highly recommend.
