FYR represents the metaphorical hearth of downtown Columbus with the centerpiece of the kitchen being a wood-fired grill led by renowned Argentine chef, Sebastian La Rocca. Located within Hilton Columbus Downtown, the use of fire & smoke is incorporated into every dish to bring the historical ritual of cooking over an open flame tableside. Service was incredible- server was attentive and knew menu well and how to guide us as first time diners. Food was incredible.

This was for a friends birthday dinner on a Monday night. The staff were incredibly friendly and well attentive. The space itself was very spacious and the ambiance was great. I could definitely see myself come back for a drink or to nibble on shareables but not for a dinner reservation. We ordered the cauliflower, gnocchi, caesar salad, grilled octopus, grilled asparagus, and half chicken. It was good but I wouldn’t say I was WOW’d by the food. Maybe I need to try other things on the menu but for now I would say the food was good (portions were somewhat small for some things) but don’t think it’s quite worth the price. Overall it was a great dinner, would recommend for others to come and try it out themselves!

This place is gem in Columbus. The quality of food matched the prices, as in, everything was absolutely outstanding. Service was excellent. They knew the menu, the wine, and made great recommendations. Vallet drivers were amazing. Ambience was on point. Can't wait to go back!

This was our first time dining at FYR and we LOVED it! The food had a delicious Argentinian flare and everything we ordered was amazing! Our waiter, Mykel, was so knowledgeable about the menu items and made some great recommendations! We were pleasantly surprised when the chef came to the table to check on our experience. He shared with us that some of his inspiration came from his grandmothers recipes..which we thought was really cool. Watching the chefs interactions with the servers, cooks and runners made it clear that he knows his staff and treats them as family. We would highly recommend dining at FYR! Make sure you leave room for dessert!

I had dinner here the other night and had to bring my colleagues back for the most recent dinner. It was as good as the first the appetizers were fantastic and the meals delicious one disappointing note was after having all that good food from appetizers to dessert that the coffee was subpar. based on the quality of food service and everything else at this restaurant, I would think a good cup of coffee wouldn’t be too hard to achieve. Hopefully it’ll get better. I would still frequent this restaurant on my Columbus business trip.

We had a great time at Fyr. Our server was very attentive and friendly while the food was great and worth it. As people who travel to New York for fine dining experiences, dining in Fyr felt like we were in a New York Michelin restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Great experience overall. Had dinner at the bar. The bartender was great. Very attentive, pleasant and informative. Made a mean cocktail as well. Food was delicious. Steak tartare and the pork were great. One issue is the main course came immediately after they gave me my appetizer. Timing was definitely an issue.

Really enjoyable dining experience! Food was fantastic. Cocktails were creative and delicious. We arrived earlier than the rest of our guests. We were escorted to the bar by Cynthia, where she found two seats for us. Such a nice gesture and a first for me. Soon our guests arrived and we were seated again by Cynthia. She’s a really excellent host person. Appreciate she care. We’ll definitely be back. 👏
