    Went here for my wife’s birthday and we had an excellent time. Was well looked after we had an amazing time.

    The restaurant’s interior and decor does its name more than justice. Very friendly and attentive waiting staff. A simple yet varied menu catering for all tastebuds. Food presentation and taste were amazing, the portion size is quite generous.

    There was a wide ranging menu with plenty of choice. The food was well presented, of good quantity. The overall quality was marred by a rather fatty beef cut which left a lot of inedible waste. Pricing was in line with a central London standard which was difficult to justify in this mostly rural location. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. Facilities for disabled guests were sadly lacking The disabled toilet was only accessible by negotiating three stairs. No hand rails or ramps were available. Not sure how a wheelchair user would be able to gain access. The presentation of the toilet was sadly lacking. Clearly used as a dumping ground for cleaning materials and other odds and ends, this does not give the impression of caring for a disabled customer using the facility. Given the level of pricing, our overall experience did not constitute value for money. This could have been a more enjoyable experience with greater attention to customer needs and a more realistic pricing structure.
