We were looking forward to our special night at Fuji and we were really disappointed. This was not the first time we had gone to the restaurant but it will be the last. It took a while for the wait staff to come over to our table, I love the Hamachi collar and they usually only have a few orders available so I wanted to get my request in early, I finally got someones attention. Lucky for me there were two orders left. I'm glad I got one since it was the highlight of the meal for me. It was pretty much downhill for the rest of the evening. The Bao buns had barley anything in them. The pork belly was as thin as a piece of bacon. The edamame had no salt on them and lacked flavor.
The Vegetable tempura was ok but nothing special, best described as soggy by my wife.
The Toro was a mess, it looked like it was hacked instead of sliced. When you pay over $21 for a order of Sashimi you expect it to taste and look good. This was not the case.
The rest of the sushi was ok tasting but presentation was poor. Sushi is a form of art and this was not art. The servers at most sushi places point out to you what you have on your platter, this was just dropped off.
$360 dollars later I'm done with Fuji at any of their locations.
