J.P. Fuji’s Group welcomes Fuji at Newton as its tenth location in the group’s portfolio. Fuji at Newton marvels a tranquil and calm ambience offering ultramodern, upscale Japanese cuisine.

This full-service location offers several dining options to new and returning patrons all over the metro-Boston area. This expansive space will showcase sit-down dining, a large bar and sushi bar. Accordion windows and two patios follow suit to truly tie in an indoor-outdoor balanced feel.

Fuji at Newton’s menu offers a large-scale offering of food options from refined makimonos, mouthwatering wok-tossed dishes and customary classics. A masterful mix of cocktails, wine and spirits partner in harmony with the selected menu. Omakasé offerings will be available, by reservation only, and curated by culinary master, Founder, and CEO Chef Jimmy Liang and Executive Head Chef Ming Cao.

Fuji’s food is fresh and oh so tasty. Have been looking for an excellent sushi place. The service was spot on and the food out in no time. Will definitely go back. Thank you

Our first time here. The service was excellent. The non -sushi menu seems limited to us . The food was fine, but nothing extraordinary. I guess their specialty is the sushi which none of the four of us eat. Appetizer dumplings were very good. Lettuce wrapped chicken was impossible to eat as a wrap. The pieces of it were fine. The entrees and fried rice were tasty but not exceptional.

The food is significantly better than other Japanese restaurants that I have tasted from around the world. The ingredients are excellent. They don’t over use fat or salt in their food. The food was presented well on the dish. It all tasted very delicious.

The best sushi place! We eat there at least once a week and we’ve never had a bad experience. The sushi is so so fresh. we also get other food and everything’s always absolutely delicious. The drinks are very tasty.

The food is very dependably very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals with courses ranging from raw shrimp to kung pao chicken. Service was friendly and competent. At dinner, the noise level can be quite loud (at least for those of us who are well into middle age and anyone who struggles with hearing over background noise). Parking can be a challenge - the lot behind the complex was full and we had to drive around for a few minutes to find an open street spot that was a few blocks away. This is a great neighborhood spot where we dine regularly. If you prefer a more quiet experience, try it for lunch - same menu is available plus a lunch specials list and it is MUCH less noisy.
