This is my favorite restaurant in Sacramento. I bring friends here after raving about the food and they always agree it is as good as I said. Same owners, same chef…always the same quality food. Each dish is well presented, delicious and made with quality ingredients. The food and the service are exceptional. In fact, I’ve never experienced personal service and great food as reliably anywhere else. Thank you Robert! It was a pleasure to meet you again last night! Thanks, Jennifer

My wife and I came for date night and started with cocktails. She had the Gimlet, and I had the Spiced Pear Sidecar. Both were excellent. We had the cheese board, which featured three local cheeses, all of which were delectable, especially the blue. She had a lively New York Strip, medium, and I had the Ribeye, medium rare. Both were on point with respect to temperature and very tasty. Good quality beef, as well. Sides were broccolini for her and green beans and potato for me — all fresh. Service was fantastic, and food arrivals were timely and not rushed. Small dining room but quiet. Parking could likely be problematic, given location, but we were fortunate in this regard. Dinner for two, with cocktails and bottle of wine, was less than $300, including tax and gratuity. We shall return!

Excellent brunch. Steak sandwich is a standout with delicious fries. Shakshuka and French toast were both great as well. Attentive and friendly service by a really nice new wait staff being trained by James ( embarrassed that I forgot his name) . Got to say hi to owner Robert who hands on was clearing our table after we finished. Super nice guy . Shout out for sponsoring Ironman California for past 4 years but double shout out for being such a great overall restaurant. Great place for brunch or dinner. Food , drinks and service are top notch and inside and outside dining areas are enjoyable.

Our server, Janelle, was fantastic! She answered all of our questions and was very understanding when half our party was delayed. She gave great recommendations. The food was amazing! We all loved our entrees (I highly recommend the chicken confit!). Absolutely will be back again.

Great spot! I have had dinner here before and loved it. Just had their brunch. Also loved it. Very cool environment and the food is excellent. Definitely recommend.

My wife and I chose Frog and Slim for our anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. The level of service, quality drinks, delicious food, and just overall ambiance were top notch! Our server Bryan was 10/10 and just from his level of service alone, we’d recommend the restaurant! But then you pair it with delicious cocktails and mocktails, along with delicious food (starter, mains, and dessert) it was a 10/10 experience! We got the fried arancini (delicious flavors and great textures), my wife got Pork Shank and I got lasagna for our mains, and we got bread pudding for dessert.

The food was phenomenal. The vegetarian lasagna was the best lasagna I've ever had. The cocktails were delicious. Janelle, our server, was lovely and professional. It was a great spot to have a nice dinner.
