We consider ourselves the gluten-free pioneers of NYC and our food is always delicious. Dinner at Friedman's consists of classics like Moms Famous Meatloaf, Pan-Seared Ginger Salmon and Chicken & Waffles. Wonderful dining experience. Close to the theater, clean, exceptional service and the food choices were varied and many. There were 6 of us and we all were extremely pleased with our food orders. It was our waiter's first day on the job and he was superb! EVERYONE from the door to the floor (from the hostess to the table buster) was kind, smiling and helpful! We really enjoyed our visit to Frieda\man's and will definitely return!

The menu is NATURALLY gluten free - there are very few items which are not gluten free (I found only one!) My sister and I sat at the bar and had a few cocktails, some apps, and dinner. We had a great time. When the wait staff started singing, they were awesome!!! Definitely recommend.

Service was terrible. We were rushed to order. Were given the bill even though we didn’t ask for it and had just finished eating. Food mediocre.

Wonderful place for brunch, lunch. One I our party has Celiac and was thrilled to have so many gf options! Service was quick Waitstaff is helpful and courteous

Our first waiter had trouble explaining and understanding some allergies regarding dairy so luckily we were able to get a new waitress and she made our meal enjoyable. Portions were large, service was quick and food was delicious!

Everything from the hostess, the servers to the food was excellent. Our son has Celiac Disease and the staff is very knowledgeable and very caring about ensuring our son was taken care of and safe. The dining room is beautiful and has a really nice and welcoming energy. This was an excellent and very appreciated experience! We will definitely come back!
