Fabulous food, ambience and service!!!!! The wait staff made our dining experience an excellent one! With pleasant smiles, we are definitely looking forward returning! Lastly, the art deco decor and murals were me memorable to view!

We would not have booked this reservation if we had known they had a singing servers. Of the four meals at our table, only only one person enjoyed their food. The other three found their meals disappointing. Service wasn’t great because the waitress was busy singing. And the person walking around to tables with a hat asking customers to tip the singers seemed really inappropriate given that our food had just been set down on the table when she came by. And the music was so loud it was difficult to have a conversation. On the upside, the food was delivered very quickly and the ambience (without the loud music) would have been very nice.

Friedman's take reservations making it very convenient to eat before or after a Broadway Show. Most of the employees are nice and helpful. Our waitress was not around our table very often, not sure if that is by design because other employees are around. Food is decent. Salads and grain bowls are nice. A couple of the sandwiches are a little iffy for NYC. Matzah ball soup is great stuff..

The waitstaff is unbelievably talented. They remain attentive while performing at an exceptional level. The food was just mediocre at best. The experience was worth it, though!

I'm sorry to say that we didn't even stay for our dinner. I had no idea that this place was SO LOUD...apparently there are "singing servers". There was no way we'd be able to enjoy our meal with the noisy conversations and a background of waiters belting out songs. I cannot review the food or service because I literally ran out of there before we were even seated. I'd love to return at a quieter time as this restaurant was highly recommended to me by my co-worker. I'm sure the food is fine and the ambience could be fun for people who aren't worried about losing their hearing.
