FRIDA southwest is inspired by the cuisine of Oklahoma, Santa Fe and northern Mexico in an architecturally unique, beautifully designed setting. Proudly located in the Paseo Arts District, OKC.

                    Fantastic! Our server was wonderful and the food was amazing! We had the Southwest Spring Rolls, Tamale Trio, Chimichurri Skirt Steak and the Sugar Cane Scallops. Everyone was full and happy!

                    My husband and I went out for his birthday dinner last night on 9/21/24. Not our first time at Frida. Liz was our server. She was so attentive, yet gave us our time! Food was out timely, hot, and delicious as always. We decided to try the crab dip for the first time, and it did not disappoint. We love the large portion sizes at Frida! The crab dip was enough for two hungry people to share and still have some leftover for later. My husband got the redfish & I got the short rib. Both were cooked to perfection with delicious sides. To top it off, we chose the Pistachio cheesecake. My husband had discussed possibly getting the Mexican chocolate cake. Liz brought him a mini portion of that cake with a candle on it for his birthday- such a sweet surprise! We enjoyed our dinner and have not yet had a less than 5-star review. Frida is our idea of a perfect date night. <333

                    Made a reservation a week prior. Upon arrival was told we would be seated on the patio in 90 degree heat. When we refused we were taken to a small room with a bar that serves the patio. A group of 10 were seated in this small room along with 3 smaller tables. The group and the bar was so loud it made conversation nil. Our food was over cooked and the sides were cold. Our servers were very good and agreed the noise was overwhelming. The manager offered free dessert and drinks, but we declined. Our check was adjusted removing the entrees. We were told their reservation system defaults to patio seating, so beware. Very disappointed as this restaurant was chosen for our anniversary dinner.

                    We had the crab/lobster spring rolls, paella, scallops and Chilean sea bass. Everything was great! All the drinks were fantastic!

                    Overall great experience. My husband has a gluten allergy and had lots of options. Good portion sizes.

                    The service was very slow. It took 50 minutes to receive our entrees and one of the steaks was burned.
