Went for breakfast on Father's Day and they told us they were expanding they're hours, opening for dinner soon. As we enjoyed our breakfast, we decided to go back and try their dinner. Very pretty restaurant, delicious food, reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Food quality is poor, and they try to upsell everything - do not eat here. The food has no flavor, watery beans/sauces, and they use cheap ingredients. Low value for the price. Even the eggs were blah. I mentioned it to the server when he asked how my meal was, and they didn't send a manger over or anything when I said it was "fine, edible" - the server just explained that they don't flavor their food so their guests can do it themselves. Disappointing.

After going to their Pilsen location I wanted to go to the one on N. Clark. It is a beautifully decorated spot with great food and service.

Took waiter 30 minutes to come to our table even though there was only about 10 tables occupied. Had to ask hostess for service and then waiter finally came over for the first time. Took another 15 minutes just to get our drinks.

One person working, took 5 minutes for anybody to know we were there. We had to go back to the kitchen and say “hello?”. Server was very friendly but the food was no good. Never have I seen such watery fajitas. It was like boiled meat and vegetable soup on a plate.

We visited Frida Room for Mother’s Day brunch and had a great time. The staff was very welcoming, food was delicious, and atmosphere was very nice. We will be coming back again!

Ceviche had frozen pieces of fish, they said it was due to supposedly keeping it cold under dry ice and “remade it”. Soup was good, ceviche and service and homemade sauces were good. Elote ribs were ok, weird they had chicken pastor instead of standard pork. We love in the neighborhood, but not sure that I’ll be back.
