The Freshie Taproom is a bright, beachy space right in the heart of the Brookie brewery scene. Good vibes and natural wines compliment a light and fresh Mexican inspired menu. Great open space that makes it an amazing spot to head to for a weekend lunch with the family when the sun is out! Drinks on tap were awesome, and the food arrived quickly and was tastey and well presented, will definitely be heading back.

Love this place but the guitarist/trombone guy playing loud live music completely killed the Sunday pre footy vibe and made it hard to have a relaxed conversation.

The place was not overly packed but there were only 2 staff on the bar and a very long wait. We had booked a table of 10 and basically only had 1 drink each because the queue was too long. The music was too loud as you had to scream at each other to be heard

Food was great but non alcoholic drinks were awful. Beer was alright. Table and chairs uncomfortable and wobbly

Absolutely sensational venue. Great beers and food. Bar staff are beyond terrific. Especially the staff member wearing a glorious roosters jersey!

Need more staff, and the staff need to know what they are doing. The line around the bar got too unmanageable and the var staff were all over the place

Great venue with great beer and food and they also have a fantastic area down the back for the kids to play. Unfortunately, the night we were there they had a schedule change, not the acoustic singer song writer we were expecting but a very loud 4-piece band that played hard and loud while we tried to eat dinner and chat. The band kicked off at 6pm right on dinner time with the kids, it was too loud, they could have started a little later, 7pm which is the time I was told they would start when we sat down. They were a good band though just a little loud for 6pm. Overall, I will be back, I'll just make sure I either book a table down back near the kids' area or get there and eat earlier so we can leave with the kids if it gets too loud. It would have been perfect if the original acoustic singer was on though.
