    of the various fresh locations, this is our favorite because whoever is in the kitchen does an amazing job. the crispy tofu stakes, for example, are just perfectly handled: super crispy outside and soft inside. the queen location, on the other hand, cannot make that to this level of perfection and always end up sort of soggy. i highly recommend the Bloor location because the food preparation is just pitch perfect.

    We ordered the green poutine and got the regular. We were in a rush so didn’t bother to correct it. The ambience feels a little “grungier” than the other locations.

    Great service. Nice selection of vegetarian food. Was Delighted that I could make reservations for Sunday brunch and that there was room on the patio. Our waitress was great, friendly and pleasant.

    The new location is very “corporate cookie cutter” vibes but I guess that’s what you can expect when a small business is bought out by a big corp. While the space feels larger, there are less seating options. No liquor license yet after only having been open for three weeks. Not a big deal but it was a tough heads up after a long work week. When we arrived, the front area by the cash was overrun with pick up orders… gig workers pushing past customers waiting to be seated. I get it though, the system will fine tune itself and settle. Server was wonderful, the staff have always been great though. A few new faces and some familiar who were at the original spot. No complaints there. Food was great, came out quickly and was fresh (sorry for the pun). Our only gripe though is that the Miso Gravy has become so watery that it is no longer gravy! What happened?! Are we cutting corners by diluting the product? Please I beg of you, make it gravy again! My only major feedback is that we were sat at the back of the restaurant. Lovely and intimate space BUT the dishwasher station is also located at the rear and it was SO NOISY. Crashing and banging throughout the evening… very distracting. Not to mention dishes and ingredients being carted back and forth between guests seated in this section. Maybe this is a growing pain? Maybe they’re still getting organized? Hopefully just a temporary issue while the new location gets in its feet. Have been going to Fresh for over 15 years and will continue to go for as long as they are in the neighbourhood. Thanks for a great evening and I can’t wait to go back!

    Great space! Great food and service. They don’t have a liquor license yet and we learned this once we had already set at our table

    Great new location for this old standby. I am not a vegetarian, and it usually would not consider going to a veggie place. But this place is a real exception excellent food, great variety. Enjoy their salads and bowls. Excellent taste and nice portion size. And now a lovely patio in addition to beautiful inside renovation.

    The menu has nice options. Plates very very well presented and looked delicious. Our waitress was very nice and helpful in suggesting some dishes. I only find odd the washrooms.
