Established in 2017 by Executive Chef, Thomas Cauquil and Brewery Director, Vincent De Soyres, Frenchies Bistro & Brewery specialises in creating food and drinks for friends, all in a relaxed, casual, and unique setting, where customers have the option to dine surrounded by brewing tanks.

Leaning on fresh, local, seasonal produce, the duo create all of their products in-house, from smoked and cured meats and hand rolled pastas, to Frenchies' award-winning beers and spritzes.

Thomas and Vince first met at Albert de Mun Hotel and Catering School in Paris in 2005. From there, Thomas went on to work at Michelin star restaurants including Le Violon d’Ingres* in Paris and El Chaflán in Madrid, meanwhile Vince set his sights on Australia, and moved from Ninkasi Brewery in Lyon to the Little Brewing Co. in Port Macquarie in 2010, followed by the Flat Rock Brew Café.

Thomas joined Vince in Australia in 2013, and they transformed their dream into a reality with the opening of Frenchies.

Amazing Raclette dinner !! Everything was perfect (quality, quantity). As french people we say YES, it was like we were at home !

Hidden jewel at the heart of Cannery. Excellent French seasonal bistro menu has a great selection of wines and house brewed beers. It is a delight for a celebration or a quiet meal and the team makes it memorable.

The Staffs were very helpful. The food is excellent. Definitely will come back, although a bit far from us and a challenge to park

A beautiful location to dine at. We were greeted warmly and invited into the lovely atmosphere of the restaurant effortlessly. Our service was outstanding, the food came quickly, and was excellently prepared- absolutely delicious! I will certainly be recommending this to friends and family, and shall return myself very soon.
