This was possibly the worst meal I have had in many years. The chicken volevent was cold and unfavourable. Service was sketchy. In all, a very disappointing dinner. We will NEVER go back

We were very disappointed with the food, we have eaten here previously, and it was always great, but last night it was substandard. The mussels were stringy and the steak was overcooked even though I asked for v rare. The servers kept trying to clear the table even though we were not finished.

Excited to try this restaurant based on the reviews. First I must say this was lunch, so maybe not indicative of dinner. They have good recipes I believe, based on what we tasted. The cooks let them down in this case. One of us had a 1/2 chicken. Flavor was good, but the breast was an almost sawdust dry. The fries were tasty, and the mustard sauce with mushrooms was a delight. One of us saw what looked like a Croque Monsieur with ham and a gooey cheese grilled on slices of bread. It looked delicious. However, the ham sandwich ordered off the menu was a cold sandwich with cold brie cheese, and stale bread that was crumbly and not fresh. Couldn't eat the bread. The ham was very good, as were the cornichons. The wait-staff were kind but not effusive. We each had a glass of wine: one a chardonnay from Languedoc, ,and the other a red blend from the same region. Cost of the wine was $10 each, which we thought was a great price point. Cost was not cheap - it was $$76 incl. tax, plus a $14 tip. We might go back for dinner, but probably not for lunch again.

Excellent ambiance, service and evening. The Duck was sublime and the Moroccan Lamb was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. If you haven't eaten at this restaurant give it a try you will not be disappointed.

French rotisserie is the true traditional French bistro experience. This restaurant serve the best escargots in the valley. Our server Jean Luques was excellent and the atmosphere is always jovial. We enjoyed tremendously the duck a l’orange and the beef bourguignon. A perfect casual dinner!

Server was very abrupt when she advised my friend that the credit card had expired. She dropped it on the table and walked away. A better way to handle this would have been to quietly ask for another credit card. My friend, who I had just introduced to the restaurant, was embarrassed and will probably not return. The same server then came and told us we needed to leave immediately as they needed our table. One of the reasons our dinner took so long was the issue with the credit card. We waited a good ten minutes before she returned for another card. We go to the French Rotisserie about 3 times a month and bring new people almost every time. This was disappointing experience to say the least.

The reservation was for 11.15 but I was advised on arrival that they don’t actually open until 11..30. Service was courteous and attentive. Food was French Provincial and good.
