The Austrian owner has poured her heart and soul into creating an atmosphere that is best described in one German word: gemütlich. The carefully chosen artifacts & candlelight combine to make this the perfect place for a romantic rendezvous, intimate rehearsal dinner or wedding party. According to owner Karin Derly, "We envisioned this as a place for people to create happy, lasting memories." Many many satisfied customers from around the world agree that French Alpine Bistro is a charming hideaway, surrounded by the Rocky Mountains.

Such an amazing place. Magical setting with delicious food and terrific service. Tomas, our server, gave us great recommendations and was very attentive to our table. Thanks for an unforgettable night 🙏🏼

Jasmine was an incredible server. Such a fun, romantic spot. We never miss it when we are in Aspen. Try the cornichons with the fondue!

I can’t say enough about how nice an experience we had . We had booked an outdoor table, but a downpour made dining outside not an option. We were given a table inside. The entire staff were very friendly. We had some special requests. The wait staff were very accommodating and couldn’t have been more understanding and kind. Our experience far exceeded our expectations. Thank you for making our dining experience a memorable one.

Great food, great time, lovely cosy ambiance, very expensive. Initially, our server took a while to attend to us - the manager eventually noticed and sent him over, and he apologized for the wait - well, not a huge deal. Happy dinner experience!

The French Alpine Bistro is always a special treat. The place deserves a Michelin star rating. The food is exceptional and the service is top notch. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is fantastic. You feel like you’re in Europe. I hope they open up another location in Vail someday. Highly recommended!

We were celebrating our anniversary and it was perfect, romantic, delicious and treated like family VIPs. The entire staff was so warm welcoming and attentive. All The dishes were outstanding and delicious. Our very favorite place to dine in the world.
