    Given bottle water instead of tap water. Flaming shrimp tasted good but didn’t see the flame. Asked for table with view of sunset and sun was obstructed by building.

    Wow. from the moment we walked in David the Maitr’d welcomed us. We wer seated outdoors and was worries about wind but it turned iut fine. The service was attentive and amaziing. It was almost too fast. The DJ music was perfect , not loud, with classic sounds. The manager visted several times to check on is and Claudia our primary waitress was just perfect

    We enjoyed our first visit to Fred’s. The staff was very attentive and professional. We dined inside because the outside tables were full, but it was cozy as well. I love lobster rolls and was excited to have theirs. It was moderate by comparison and the portion was smaller than other restaurants. My wife has celiacs and was only able to choose from a few items. The drinks were very good. We will most likely return again.

    Another great meal at Fred's. This is a must when visiting Cancun. We sat outside for the first time and boy have we been missing out. We were in our own exclusive villa table with a beautiful view of the bay. We started with oysters and martinis and they were great. The Fish and Salmon was wonderful and finished it up with espresso martinis. Will be back before we leave for home.

    Outstanding food at service at Fred's. Ordered a couple of shrimp starters - flamed crispy coconut shrimp - prepared table side. Was a good choice and entertaining watching them prepare the shrimp. Second appetizer, Fred's shrimp (cold appetizer) - the coconut shrimp were the better choice. Stone crabs were good - but a lot of work. Served hot with butter - prefer cold with a mustard sauce. Also ordered a filet. The steak was good - combo of stone crab and steak made for a good surf and turf. Dessert was excellent - TSUNAMISÚ - light tiramisu like dessert. Ice cream and expresso to finish. Start to finish - great service - excellent food. Server was distracted at the end - working with another table. Overall, one of the better restaurant choices this trip.

    The food was not seasoned at all and the lobster was very mushy despite being their signature dish. Not impressed with the food, but the service was impeccable except when it came time to get the check. I had to ask 3 times. I noticed another diner had the same issue.
