The food was not seasoned at all and the lobster was very mushy despite being their signature dish. Not impressed with the food, but the service was impeccable except when it came time to get the check. I had to ask 3 times. I noticed another diner had the same issue.

Went to Fred’s for dinner. The wait staff, JC and Moises, were great. The fill-in manager, Jose, was friendly and accommodating. I had the mixed Yucatán ceviche, very good. Wife had shrimp cocktail. We both had grilled grouper filet. Excellent. Drinks were really good. Definitely will go back to Fred’s. Also the local crocodile is very entertaining.

Attentive staff and management combined with excellently presented and expertly prepared food made a birthday celebration truly a special evening. With at least ten different items on a shared plate, each item was tasty in and of itself. The King Crab and Octopus were especially delicious. The waiter took time to explain beverage choices, including a unique tequila to start and a Chardonnay which paired very well with the meal. Both the Tsunami Tiramisu and the complimentary birthday dessert were delicious. To top it off, the server suggested Carajillo, introduced us to this traditional and delicious digestif, all enjoyed in a serene waterfront setting. Experiencia más agradable!

This is our second time at Fred’s. We went here for our anniversary lunch. We had a couple of beers and an old fashioned. Crab cake and calamari for appetizers. The crab cake was delish. The calamari was good. For the main meal we had fish n chips and lobster roll. Both were good. They give you a lot of fish. It was good and flavorful. The lobster roll was also flavorful, slightly overcooked but was still enjoyable. The servers, Jorge and Leon, were very friendly and attentive. They brought us a cake and some coconut candies to celebrate our anniversary. This is a place we will visit again. We spent about $140 US including tip.

It's such a wonderful experience dining here to celebrate my son's birthday! The food is exceptional, and a big thank you to our amazing servers, George and Leun. Kudos to you guys!

Overall a very good restaurant with great service and quality food. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and they made it a special occasion. The Tuna Mignon and accompanying sauce were very flavorful but the tuna was stringy in places. Rare tuna I have had in the past was 100 per cent pure like a filet. That was the only disappointment for me.
