Very fine, classy meal and staff exceptionally friendly. Freddie came out of the kitchen on occasions to greet diners. Strongly recommended.

Chef Fredrick and server Marcos were quite the team. Friendly, funny and very competent. The food was amazing (best French Onion Soup ever), and the elk was perfect! A real find in N. Palm Springs at The Cole.

I can’t rave enough about Freddie’s Kitchen at the Cole. Dinner started with the wild mushroom strudel, entrees of peppered elk medallions and a short rib rigatoni bolognaise, lastly chocolate mousse! Excellent service and great talking with the chef.

Incredible! What a cool unique atmosphere. The whole experience was fun from the moment we stepped in the door the staff was excellent and the food was incredible period. Also it was an excellent value

Though we never looked into his kitchen, it must be amazing (if not magical), in that the dishes were were served that originated in it were marvelous! Freddie, himself, is an affable and enthusiastic full-of-life character who seems to enjoy hospitality as much as he enjoys the freshest and highest-quality ingredients into marvelous combinations and creations that have attracted many repeat customers -- quite a testimony with restaurants in this town on every corner, it seems, and many others lining the blocks between them. The dining room is spotless as well as well-decorated and convivial, and everything is conducive to the celebration of life, itself, including a great menu and very reasonably priced wine list. Chef Frederic Pierre's notable industry accomplishments have enabled him to bring his skills and expertise to the Palm Springs community, and we are very much graced by the presence of him and his restaurant. This was our first visit to Freddie's, but it will not be our last. Already, we are looking at our calendar to plan our next visit to Freddie's wonderland of culinary delights. We can't wait!

Always great classic French food and friendly service. It’s a small menu but everything is delicious. The wines are all French selections.

Chef run restaurant, and that skill shows. Chef Freddie does a great job of producing high quality French cuisine. While the server is excellent and attentive, Chef Freddie may well assist in front of house when he is not too busy. Excellent team of good people. This is a small restaurant, with a well edited menu. The wine list is reasonably priced, and Chef offers some great wines. We will be back, and we highly recommend it.
