Freddie Paul’s Steakhouse is just the beginning of a new generation. This heritage began back in the 1940’s when Fred & Amelia Saliba opened the very first restaurant in the Saliba family. Although Brian wasn’t with his grandparents in the beginning, he was raised under the careful training of his father and mother as they carried on the family tradition.

Because of this training, Brian began to love the restaurant business and pursued a career in the culinary arts. The initiation of his training began at O.S.U. in the college of Hotel & Restaurant Administration. During this time, Brian was able to train as an intern under renown chefs at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs where he earned the right and inspiration to advance.

As Brian progressed in his training, his desire to become a restaurant owner continuously increased. They have now begun the new generation of restaurants in the Saliba family, Freddie Paul’s Steakhouse.

The food was good. Service was excellent. I felt that $14 for a house glass of wine was too high. I was offended with a $2. charge for a split plate was ridiculous. The kitchen did not split the plate and in fact did not even offer an extra plate. We shared steak and lobster. I used my salad plate for the lobster. Really a pet peeve of mine. However we will be back.

Sometime in the last month their policy on paying with credit cards has added an additional charge to the bill. We were not informed of this until our card had been run and the receipt was brought to the table. Our tab was a considerable amount as we were paying for three dinners. We normally do not carry that much cash and will think twice before we eat there again.

We were sat in the bar area(not by choice but try to be understanding of only being 2 of us)by the doorway that led to the kitchen with everyone walking by, the bartender was having a conversation with co-worker talking about “F*** this and that”. KC strip had to be sawed on to cut through. Seabass smelled off and texture was rubbery. Salad bar was okay and cabbage rolls were good but overall not a great meal.

Good was delicious & service was great! Ribeye, filet, & steak medallions, all delicious! Old fashioned was really good, too. Beer could have been colder.

Service was EXCELLENT and food was good. Our potatoes arrived cold but the waitress replaced quickly and all was good.

Strip steaks were not cooked as ordered, manager was very rude and confrontational over correcting the steaks. Ultimately my steak was too tough to eat so I had it taken off the bill. This was my mother's 82nd birthday party and the restaurant did nothing to help her feel special, seated us at a crowded table in the flow of traffic. Salad bar was pretty bad and not properly stocked. Restrooms are not ADA compliant and we had to leave early because my elderly mother could not enter the toilet stall with her walker. Overall a very poor experience and I can't recommend it at all.

Not much atmosphere! Food decent, but steaks not as good as many others, like Kat's (Lamont), Clicks (Pawnee), Rusty Barrel (Ponca City), or Texas Roadhouse (Stillwater). Not worth the cost! Excellent waitress!!!
