Mia Francesca features the zesty, earthy cuisine of Rome and the surrounding areas of Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio. It was one of the first restaurants in Chicago to encourage the lively art of dining with a contemporary, casually sophisticated trattoria ambiance, simple, rustic cooking, friendly service, and fair prices.

Waiting for a table at the beautiful antique bar is part of the charm of Mia Francesca. The plush upstairs dining room and lounge can be reserved for private events, as can the more intimate coach house tucked away behind the restaurant. In the summer, al fresco dining is also available on a charming cobblestone terrace.

Very enjoyable dining experience. Disappointing that the waiter didn’t acknowledge my birthday even though the host mentioned it when we checked in.

Great food and excellent service. Enjoyed the decor and ambiance. A much needed addition to the Lincolnwood restaurant scene. A bonus is the free indoor parking!

I had an appetizer and a main dish. My partner had a main dish. None of the dishes thrilled us. We are unlikely to go back. Service was excellent, however.

So happy that Francesca opened in LINCOLNWOOD. I've been going to the Francesca restaurant for over 25 years. I have always had good meals in a great atmosphere. Their new location is in my opinion the nicest one so far the food was great. It was a good value. The weight staff couldn't do enough for us, I've been there twice in the last two weeks and plan on going again soon

What a pleasure to find a restaurant with so many positives when you have decided you want an extraordinary evening out and not “breaking” the charge card. The staff were attentive to always filling water glasses, or bread(no charge)., and splitting all our dishes at night/c. The manager, Stosh came over multiple times to check in on our meal and ask if everything was good. The prices on appetizers, entrees and wine by the glass were ample and enough to take home. Francesco’s delivers on all cylinders.
