This was our second visit to Foxy's. The food was good in both cases, the service was spotty...at times we felt well taken care of and at times we felt ignored. The atmosphere is lovely (with very few noticeable changes from the Shame on the Moon days) although a bit noisey. However, we felt totally taken advantage of when the bill arrived and we noticed that there was one price for cash and another price for credit card payment which was not disclosed on the menu nor the website. When we asked the server about this his response was that this is required by a new law in California. This statement is simply not true. The Price transparency laws to which he referred aims to eliminate hidden fees and requires advance notification. Clearly there was no advance notification of the hidden fees of around 5%. This tactic is expected from Spirit Airlines, not a fine dining establishment. Very disappointed in this tacky surcharge which was not disclosed in advance and amounted to a "fee" which was higher than the 2.5-3% fees charged to merchants by most credit card companies.

The service is spectacular and the new owners retry very hard to please. The Brussels sprouts were Al very small portion for the price but delish- on the other hand the chicken Marsala was bland and the chicken slightly tough The chocolate fudge cake for dessert was FABULOUS and a nice large slice for sharing I would give it a 2nd chance - the place was packed

Third time for dinner there, great food and service. It is a classy place. Junior was our server. Very nice had oysters, salad and the chicken special. Would highly recommend.

It was as a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and service was excellent. So excited to have such a great place to dine out. I understand it’s a family affair. We met dad, Mr. Fox and one of his sons who was our waiter. The main dining room next to the bar was noisy but we had a lovely seat in the garden room. Fun times. I highly recommend Foxys and can’t wait to go back. Amy B.

Absolutely a great experience. Service and ambiance were fantastic and the food is a “10”. From the moment the host seats you and the owners greet you it’s a perfect venue. We’ll be back soon.
