One of the few hotel bars we enjoy as native New Yorkers. We were there for the live jazz in their bar area, which was adjacent to the restaurant. Both the restaurant and bar have beautiful and sophisticated ambiance and comfortable seating. The bar's menu is decent, with a small food menu. The musicians we've seen there have headlined at venues such as Lincoln Center and Birdland. Kudos to whoever is doing the music booking!

Our overall experience was amazing! Such a cute place with awesome drinks. So mad we didn’t get our waiters name because he was so fun and good!

First time at Foxtail. The hostess and waitress were really nice. We celebrated our friend’s birthday. The sausage pizza was light and flavorful. The drinks were fresh and so good. I would recommend getting a table since it was crowded in there. It’s pretty dark in there so a little hard to read the menu.

My fiance and I had an early 5:30PM dinner reservation, so we needed a spot for a nightcap. I started researching options for jazz and came across Prohibition Productions' page, which pointed me to Foxtail. To my delight, Gordon Webster was leading a quartet. It's rare to see the most in-demand musician for swing dancing in the world at a small cocktail bar, and it's doubly rare to catch him playing a more bebop-infused set. We both loved the music, especially the hard-swinging rhythms laid down by a drummer who was only playing a snare and a ride cymbal! The cocktails were nice, and the crowd was the right mix of social yet respectful to the musicians without being stuffy. As a frequent solo traveler for work, this kind of jazz night is exactly what I'm looking for in a hotel bar. I will definitely be back!

Loved the atmosphere here! The staff are very kind and attentive to you (without rushing you). The drink menu had great variety and a punch section that left me wanting to come back to try them all. When looking for a good cocktail bar, I always fear that it would end up being either a dive bar or a high-nose lounge, but this place was absolutely perfect. The only thing I wish is that I found out about this place sooner. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.
