The Fox Inn Chaddesley Corbett is a cosy, family run pub serving up fresh, local and delicious food not far from Kidderminster. Located on Bromsgrove Road, this charming pub and restaurant is a local favourite for very good reason, offering a selection of real ales, beer and wine alongside its extensive menu. The perfect choice for a relaxed meal with the whole family, a long lunch with your best pals or a few drinks after work, we’re quite sure that after you visit The Fox Inn once it’s will become your new favourite pub. Situated only a 20 minute drive out of Kidderminster, we can’t recommend a reservation at this friendly spot more.

We have visited here before and it’s been lovely. Yesterday we arrived the table we had booked for 5 was actually set for 4. Waited for that to be sorted. We were sat down. Waited ages for anyone to come over, once order taken waitress just walked off didn’t advise if we could go and get our carvery or if we needed ticket. When another waitress came past we asked her and she said she didn’t know? Went off and came back and told we could go up. Carvery man was friendly and we were served there quickly. Once finished we waited almost 40 minutes before we asked if we could order our puddings. Menu is a two course option so these were part of the meal. Ordered these. Waitress didn’t know what ice cream they had for the ice cream option. Also ordered more drinks at this point. Waited a while puddings arrived. No drinks. We ate puddings. At this stage a large party let their kids run around the already cramped restaurant and start hitting the buttons over and over on the fruit machines by our table. Nobody asked them to stop was deafening. We had now eaten our puddings and waited half an hour for our drinks. Nothing. To be honest with the noise and wait we’d just had enough. Went to bar and asked for our bill. Such a shame we had this bad experience. Have seen lots of similar reviews when I got home and looked yesterday. Won’t return in a hurry.

Our first visit and we'll certainly be visiting again. Excellent value for money however, we would be willing to pay more for more substantial dessert choices and portions. The two scoops of ice cream were meagre ½ scoops. A good Sunday lunch we'd like to have the choice of a good Sunday pudding and custard (or the option to pay separately from a dessert menu)

Normally they serve good food but something went wrong - it was quite busy so I just think it was just one off error or communication error. I have to be honest to mark down but I know they are normally good. This doesn't stop me going back to them again

Service was slow. Beef was delicious but pork was tough. Veggies weren't overly warm

Having read the menu online and found that two carvery meals were 2 for £8.95 on a Monday in the BOGOF deal. On ordering the meal we found that the two meals were in fact £14.95

Great carvery but they were short staffed on the front of house. Fortunately the pub wasn’t too busy and so service was fair - the one waitress was trying her best to keep everything running efficiently, taking and bringing out orders, answering the phone and cleaning tables.

I’ve already left a review on Google so I won’t go into great detail again. Service was awful and staff standing around chatting. On complaining we were told that they were cleaning the kitchen- at lunchtime? Then we were told they were busy, quite usual at lunchtime and they weren’t overly busy. The Fox has gone down over the last few years.
