Where better to take your BBQ loving spouse than to Four Pegs in Valentine’s Day?! Started our meal with the smoked chorizo and Gillis’s dip with house made chips. The smoked chorizo was perfectly timed with the smoked Gouda cheese. The house chips were fresh and crisp with a hint of a wheats taste to them, a perfect pairing for the dip. The burrito put a hurting on my spouse but they managed to finish it anyways. Ribs were meaty, delicate, and perfectly smoked. The burnt end pork belly sandwich was perfect and the coleslaw was crisp, crunchy, and had just enough sweetness to it to take the edge off the Brussel sprouts. A side of the smoked Gouda Mac-N-Cheese didn’t stand a chance. Looking forward to giving the weekend brunch a try soon!

Our server was super sweet and managed to be attentive but not smothering. The food was delicious. A good experience, for sure.

It was a nice neighborhood nook. We didn’t particularly love our food, but the service was great. It didn’t feel like the most clean or put together place, but it felt like a place with passion for their work and product which we can appreciate.

Protein was good, but serving size was small. They couldn't split tickets for a group of 15, which was a convenience for the staff but big inconvenience for guest. Server was nice. I will return and try again but wouldn't bring a larger group.

Parking was a little challenging but I went around the block and found street parking. It was nice to see they scored an “A” from the health department. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Staff was great. Greeted as we came in. It wasn’t too busy so we picked want table we wanted. We ordered drinks. They were unique and tasted good. For an appetizer we ordered the Beer Cheese Pretzel and it was phenomenal! Would totally order again. For entrees I had orders the Beef Brisket Melt but there was confusion and I received the Beef Brisket Sandwich. The waitress did make it right. However the brisket was so fatty I couldn’t and wouldn’t eat it. The French fries were heavily seasoned and thick like steak fries. If you like steak fries I’m sure they would be good for you, however that style isn’t my favorite, I will end on a positive and say my husband’s Beef Brisket Mac and Cheese Bowl was delicious to him and he devoured it! If you’re in the area and you like BBQ definitely check it out!
