Welcome to the Jungle! Four Monkeys was created by four cousins who wanted to bring both their Indian and American culture to the heart of New Jersey. The Name “Four Monkeys” stems from a thousand-year-old tale that embodies the four virtues of beliefs that lead to a peaceful and harmonious life:

Hear No Evil
See No Evil
Speak No Evil
Do No Evil

Fortunately, the tale never said anything about eating!

Our menu consists of a twist on Indian dishes where traditional flavors meet modern culture. Come take a seat at our table and allow your taste buds to go bananas!

A reminder, we ask that all parties limit their experience at the table to 90 minutes. Sitting at a table for longer than one and one-half hours can interfere with waiting guest’s reservations and their ability to enjoy the restaurant, too. During our busiest hours we reserve the right to enforce 90 minute sitting limits.

The food is consistently good we personally like mild food, not very spicy and we know what dishes to order.

The food is definitely good but not exceptional. The entree portion sizes are generous and the place is BYOB(inc. hard liquor). Good overall.

Four Monkeys is beautiful at night and during the daytime. For lunch we shared incredible appetizers including: the trio of samosas, lamb keema puff and the tostones. The overall favorite was the lamb but everything was incredible! Our entrees were the butter chicken, the palak paneer, the lamb chops and the lamb lambabdar... everyone had a favorite here! The paneer in any form at Four Monkeys is not to be missed. It is clearly homemade and fluffy. This is the best ever. Ankit, was an exceptional server! He guided us with heat level and was a pleasure! I am so glad my entire party loved this experience. This chef is the real deal. Four Monkeys is well worth the struggle to find parking in Summit!

The food was excellent. Each dish was flavorful and varied. The portions were perfect. It’s the only restaurant in Summit that competed with going to the City. Nothing else comes close. Service was excellent too.

Chic space. A bit hot when we arrived, but then a/c kicked in. Ordered lamb...could have been a bit more tender, but overall sauce and spice level very good.

Outstanding appetizer, palak paneer and garlic Naan. BUT the chicken thigh Korma was a joke. The dish arrived and there was one bone in thigh and one chicken leg in huge bowl of sauce. I wish I would have said something in the restaurant and regret I didn’t.

Love the food at Four Monkeys -- unique combinations, and a very full menu of options. My only complaint is that the service tends to be very rushed at the beginning, then dramatically slows at the end.

The food selection was very good. The flavor of everything we ordered was excellent and tasty. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good Indian or Indian fusion food.
