Overall the food was underwhelming. Lacked flavor. We ordered the beef chow fun, the clay pot rice, the squab, scargo and the egg plant. Out of all the dishes the eggplant was surprisingly the best dish. Food was very oily over all. The restaurant was very loud and smoky from the kitchen. Definitely not worth the one month res.

I think the menu is good. But everything I ordered is definitely on the salty side. If the sodium level can reduce by half I think the food would taste way better!

This is my second time at Four Kings. Flew in from L.A for Four Kings, you know how special that is! Food are always top notch. Almond milk Shochu is a MUST! X.O escargots, Shacha butter corn sent me to heaven. Order everything to try out for yourself! Definitely would come back. The chef, staff are young spirits and friendly. Can’t thank Four Kings enough!

Reservations and Walk ins didn’t matter, they let both lines of guests in at the same time. The interior seating was very compact and used whatever space available to fit. It was clean but loud. The acoustics with music made it hard to hear other guest at the table. Food was unique and tasty. Presentation and servings was adequate. The service was amazing, checking on each table to make sure everything was going well. Look for their special menu as they run out quickly. Prices was quite high for the food that we ordered.

Restaurant is small with only a single table that can accommodate a larger group of 5. Food was incredible! Most exciting restaurant and food of 2024

Our reservation was at 9:45. The Singapore crab was sold out still the food we ordered was delicious. I am a Chinese growing up in the era of Four Kings and can sing every single song that was played in the restaurant. Intimately familiar environment reminded me of going out dining in Shanghai. Food is authentically Chinese taste presented in a fusion style. When I go to a Chinese restaurant in the Bay Area, 95% of the time I will have upset stomach for the rest of the day or days, either due to oil or spice the restaurants use. But not here. I can only assume they use good oil, fine ingredients and spices.

Finally got a chance to dine at Four Kings! Staff were super friendly, knowledgeable and the perfect amount of attentive. The atmosphere is also super cute and has a really great upscale neighborhood spot vibe. We ordered a bunch of dishes in addition to the complimentary roasted peanuts and crushed cucumber salad - popcorn chicken, lamb skewer, haricot vert with silky tofu dressing, fish fragrant eggplant, escargot with milk bread, and claypot rice. Every dish was super balanced and well executed. The highballs were also a treat. Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family.
