Soak up our friendly service and homely charm just a short walk from the centre of the historic city of Chichester, West Sussex. Originally called the "Four Chesnut Horses" when it was built in the 19th Century, the pub was once the home of Edward Habin, a harness maker and horse dealer. After a day exploring the South Downs or local beaches, we're the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy our delicious menu with your favourite drink in hand.

Very noises could hear other people at table food was not good puddings the crumble Tate like it had handful of porridge oats on top very expensive for the food we got

Good food at a good price, and a very friendly atmosphere. Although we were warned that the sport would be on the TV, we had a table in a quiet area. The staff were very friendly and attentive and welcomed our dog too. The Caesar salad was large with lots of chicken. Scampi and Chips was a good amount and the soup was delicious. Overall a great lunch. Thank you!

We were the first customers at 12.00 and were warmly welcomed. The service was efficient and all the food was very good. Got busier during lunchtime but was never noisy. Toilets were very clean.

Lovely pub that serves a tasty menu which is good value for money! Wonderful service from both the friendly barmaid and the new chef! My husband chose the mixed grill, which was a absolute meat feast! And beautifully cooked! Puds were fab too! Well worth a visit! 100%
