   I eat at this restaurant about once a month. Is there any way to expand the menu ? The hangar steak were good. The rib eye is way too much to spend given steak prices at the steakhouses in the area.

   Edward was fantastic. A great host and waiter for my family and me. When he realized it was my daughter’s birthday, he went straight to the piano to play songs for her. It was a great memory for my family.

   Great food and service as usual. Sam, the manager, was engaging and attentive. Jimmy, the waiter was wonderful. Can't wait to go back

   This was not a great experience. Service was slow despite the restaurant being mostly empty. We ordered an appetizer and asked to start with their beat salad. Took forever to come out and then they brought everything out at once - app, salad, and entrees. Paid a lot to be very disappointed. For a Valentine’s Day dinner you would think they would be better prepared.

   From the moment we walked into the Fountain Lounge at the Waldorf Astoria in New Orleans, the service was outstanding. It’s rare to have an experience where every team member you encounter is exceptional, but this was one of those rare instances. The staff went above and beyond, creating a seamless and memorable evening. A special thank you to Liam (Host), Thedriana (Server), Ronnie (Food Runner), and Eddie (Server) for their attentiveness and hospitality. Their service truly elevated the experience. The live music added to the ambiance, and the atmosphere exuded understated elegance—classic New Orleans charm at its finest. Whether you’re stopping in for a drink or a full meal, this is a spot worth visiting for both its refined setting and impeccable service. Highly recommend!

   I love going to the Fountain Lounge. I was disappointed to see that the menu had been slightly changed. There was an item (some type of fondue) on the menu that I very much enjoyed and looked forward to eating it again. Sadly, it was not on there anymore. One more thing, please consider serving softer butter that can be spread on bread. The noise level was horrible. The gentleman playing the piano was fantastic but was just too much with ppl talking, visiting, etc. The barrel chairs need to be replaced. They were so low the table seemed to be right under my chin. Once seated, it seemed forever to give our order. Lots of ppl working but seemed to be few to take our order. It wasn't an unpleasant experience but it was not the same Fountain Lounge that I have enjoyed in the past. I will definitely be back.
