Le Founding Farmers de Tysons est un restaurant appartenant à des agriculteurs qui propose des aliments et des boissons fraîches. The quality of food & service have been going down after pandemic. I used to go 3x/week before the pandemic; now after giving them chances twice this year, I’ve decided to patronize somewhere else. We ordered country fried chicken & steak frites. The steak was hard and bland. The chicken was very dry as if it had been cooked earlier and sitting for a while and flashed fried before serving. Honestly, Denny’s or Cracker Barrel’s taste more fresh and better quality. The service was okay- as a matter factly. This is the second time in I went this year, and it seems like this is the standard service. And the minimum tip on the screen is set at 20%. Not a satisfying experience for this level of service and quality of food.

Service was good at beginning but the food took too long to come out, after appetizers and server disappeared for a very long time. Never told us what the hold up was, never apologized, explained or asked to refill our drinks. Many other tables received their food before we did and they came in after us. So disappointed.

We were seated at a bar booth during their busy buffet. Apparently our server was also the front desk hostess so we received no service. Drink refills were hard to wrestle and parts of the buffet never arrived. We ended our misery and left. FF is one of our favorite restaurants and we go there frequently. Never again at a weekend buffet. Nope! No thanks.

I’ve been to this restaurant before ands was very pleased. however, that was not the case this time around I ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup. The grilled cheese was made with some sort of multigrain bread, which is normally a little tough and they used oil instead of butter, making the bread very hard. It was very difficult to eat. I’m not sure what kind of cheese they used, but it may have been a mozzarella cheese as opposed to something a little more flavorful. The tomato soup tasted like it came out of the can. I was very disappointed in my meal.

Everything was good. Lamb chops were perfectly cooked. Green beans were not overcooked. Drinks were good.

The food and drinks are always spectacular at this restaurant, and I wish they made their cornbread in pillow form for all of us sleep eaters. The stuffed dates, 7 cheese (can any of us actually differentiate that many cheeses melted together?), rock fish, and honey fried chicken were amazing. That being said, the service was a bit disorganized tonight compared to previous visits during the week, with a forgotten appetizer and a dropped main dish that led all of our meals to come late. They did try to make amends by offering a beer to the person whose dish was dropped in the kitchen, but nothing for the rest of us who had to wait an extra 20 min for ours so they could serve everything together. I don't expect servers to memorize the whole menu, but they should be able to remember the daily soup. I'm all for tipping, but making the minimum selection for tips 20% (you have to embarrassingly click around a menu to do anything less) when the restaurant is skimping on server training and kitchen organization leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, which is somewhat canceled out by more cornbread. I hope the restaurant improves its service game.

Our Server (sadly, I cannot recall her name, petite young pretty Asian woman) provided my husband, daughter, and I exceptional service throughout the course of our meal, making for a wonderful dining experience with Founding Farmers at the Tyson’s location. The appetizer (Crab and Artichoke Dip) and our entrees (3 fried seafood platters) was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were very tasty. We enjoyed our meal so much so that we took quite a few desserts and another crab and artichoke dip to go! I highly recommend this location if you are seeking delicious food, excellent service, and a warm and welcoming ambience.
