Our Pennsylvania-inspired farmhouse restaurant is located in the lively King of Prussia Town Center. Open 365 days a year serving delicious food and drink from scratch with high-quality ingredients from farmers and suppliers we know and trust.

Join us for breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend Farmers Market Buffet Brunch, or grab a cup of our house-roasted coffee or house-churned ice cream from our First Bake Cafe & Creamery.

Majority owned by American family farmers, including the more than 50,000 farmers of the North Dakota Farmers Union, we actively care about our guests, our communities, and the planet. This all comes together everyday in our restaurant.

PARKING:
Parking can be found directly behind the restaurant and throughout the KOP Town Center lots. Additionally, there is a free parking garage directly next to LA Fitness & complimentary valet offered 7 days a week starting at 4pm, located on the corner of Main Street and Town S

We started out with a great Caesar salad but when our entrees arrived it all went down hill. The pasta (bolognese) was glued together, very undercooked and was extremely bland. The seafood risotto, while cooked, lacked the creaminess that risotto is known for and there was no Parmesan flavor at all. If I had to guess, I would say the crumbled crabmeat and shrimp were boiled and thrown over tasteless risotto. There was even that white foamy stuff (that floats to the top poaching water) all over the shrimp. We had heard good things about The Founding Farmers, but sadly that was not our experience. With so many local restaurants to choose from, this one will not be getting a second chance.

As a repeat diner at FF, I was very disappointed with the meal during this visit. My dad was visiting from out of town so it was especially disheartening to have a less-than-stellar meal. From items that lacked flavor or were undercooked, it definitely was a departure from previous FF visits.

So, the menu is quite extensive with an interesting selection of things to choose. What I wanted to have for dinner, they ran out of (side item too) so I decided to try the special fish which wasn't all that apecial. I ordered a replacement side dish of beets and ricotta which was nice with exception to all the CAPERS that they put in it. AWFUL. Why in the world would you put capers in with beets? The service was a little slow and we had to ask for dirty dishes to be removed. I'll most likely go back at some point, but I didn't find it all that impressive.

Don’t order the meatloaf if you’re expecting meatloaf because you won’t get what you’re expecting! It Looks like an oval flattened hamburger. Yankee pot roast is ok. It is Very fatty though. Apps: Tuna bites - very good and have a kick, perogies very good, apple Brie toast - very good Desserts: chocolate devil cake - very good, vanilla bean cheese cake - very good, coconut cream pie- very good, carrot cake - was ok We have not been to Founding farmers for about a year or two. our service was good but the entrees were not as good as in the past. So disappointing!

Drinks, apps, bread, desserts were delicious! Service was great! I wasn’t impressed with my entree. Scallops and Parmesan risotto … very tasteless. Will definitely go back and give it another try.

We had reservations, yet still had to wait for 10-15 minutes. Waiter was rushed, menu was odd. Not many vegetarian or vegan options. Never got part of our order. Dinners were ok, nothing great. We were asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu, we said yes. We never got it. Got the check, paid. Don’t think we will be back. Too big, too busy. Not great food. Wine was really pricey.

We visit this location a couple of times a year. The last time we were there, the food was excellent. This time the food was good.

Solid 4/5 rating. The food was delicious but some of the food in my party was cold. The server Cara was spectacular though! She really was the saving grace of the night. Funny, kind, helpful and most of all genuinely willing to help. Founding Farmers is good but ask for Cara and make it great!
