We love sitting outside to enjoy the fountain and the beautiful day. The interior was nice as well. The best part of this experience is the ambience itself. There is a little positive to say about the rest. I believe the staff are nice people, but maybe they could do with one more of those nice people on a Tuesday afternoon. There is too much time between table visits and interpersonal connection with a person who helped us. But that’s true of many restaurants who are focused on the bottom line than service. The person who wait on us seems experienced but poorly trained. For example, when removing dishes from the table, stacking plates is not uncommon but scraping food off one plate onto another in front of you is not. The service would not prevent me from returning, but the food will. How can this be associated with the founding farmers food chain.?. For the four of us, we would rate the food below average. Spinach dip was nice. But there was one that indicates what’s going on in the kitchen. I ordered a simple salad with items from the garden. This is the first time I received a salad that did not have all the ingredients on the menu. They just forgot to put some of the ingredients in. It was clear that the salad had been mixed up at least an hour earlier and just laid around, but this just look like a cheap head of lettuce, including the outside dark green leaves, half wilted. That was a cheap side salad from a diner. They charged $14 for it. Both my mother-in-law and my wife said they had tummyaches after lunch. They did not get ill or anything, but both said they will never return.

We had a large party. We were seated in a private room. The waiter and staff were very attentive. There were a couple of food items that were not delivered to table until we reminded them. No syrup for the waffles was ever given. California rolls were not eaten by my guests. The vege burger, knots, corn bread, fish tacos were good. The pizza was cold. Overall, good visit. Will go again and sit outside to enjoy the view.

Extremely disappointed in this experience. Three of the dishes we ordered were out of stock - how does that happen at a local chain restaurant - which resulted in ordering my fourth choice, a sandwich that was not worth the money paid for it. The server, while friendly, came to the table to ask for last call stating the restaurant closed at 9 on Mondays (DC-Georgetown waterfront in the summer closing at 9??) and proceeded to take my plate with half my sandwich left - essentially saying we are closing get out - and not asking if we wanted a box Restaurant was loud and. It conducive to conversations at normal speech volumes. As stated in the beginning, a complete disappointment.

They were out of at least two main items on their menu. The table next to us was served way before us even tho they ordered after us. The food was average.

It’s our first time in this restaurant and I find this place really cool coz it’s close to the waters. Food wise I like the bread and the cheese pimiento and crab dip a lot. Coffee is good too!

Service was friendly and prompt, my only issue is the food. Food was just ok. Ceviche was delicious but some might find it too spicy. Everyone enjoyed the biscuits. Hummus was fine, can find much better at the grocery store. Mashed potatoes got good reviews. The shrimp scampi was super salty, borderline inedible. Probably not going to revisit this place, we had a delivery order not too long ago from here and the French dip and the sandwich and fries arrived soaked and had to be air fried to be editable.
