Founding Farmers, le Greenest Restaurant à Washington, appartient à plus de 40.000 familles d'agriculteurs du NDFU. Sa nourriture et ses boissons sont inspirées de la cuisine américaine et tout est confectionné de A à Z.

Bien que notre restaurant est alimenté par des centaines de fermes familiales, cela ne veut pas dire que nous connaissons chaque ferme, et cela ne signifie pas que nous ne devons pas acheter des produits de la chaîne d'approvisionnement traditionnelle, toutefois nous nous efforçons d’aligner nos dépenses avec nos valeurs fondamentales.
Nous servons la meilleure nourriture possible, faite de A à Z dans nos cuisines quotidiennement. Nos plats américains, innovants sont principalement fais avec des ingrédients du terroir, honorant les agriculteurs et leur travail.

This restaurant is amazing! The food was delicious, a true southern restaurant. The southern fried chicken was perfectly seasoned, mashed potatoes were the right consistency & the buttermilk biscuit melts in your mouth. We can't wait to visit DC again!

Took 90 minutes to get our meal and had to send back the over-cooked fish entree. Wait staff was nice.

The Seating is a little too close together and the music is too loud. Acoustics of the space do not lend itself to conversation without shouting.

Super noisy, even on the patio. Our server was pleasant enough, but nothing memorable. The reasons for my “poor to fair” rating is due to several things: First off we were seated at a table for 4, which was simply two two tops put together. The problem was that the one table was horribly off balance, yet no one offered to adjust it. Our meals arrived rather quickly. We had to ask for utensils to eat with. My husband enjoyed his chicken pot pie. I ordered shrimp and grits. The shrimp was Flavorless and sat atop what tasted and felt like grits mixed with rice. Not at all what I was expecting. The andouille sausage had a nice flavor but was still over powered by the undercooked celery. It was difficult to taste the “holy trinity” because of WAY too much celery and not enough peppers and onions. It’s sad that the shrimp died in vain. My sister in law had a simple caesar salad that she said was good. My brother had the burger and fries. We requested fresh cooked fries as the ones that came with his burger were dripping grease, limp and cold. Why would ANYONE present a meal to a customer with part of the dish being improperly cooked? I had also mentioned on the reservation that this was a birthday celebration, yet it was never mentioned. My opinion is that when you have too many breakdowns in the food service line, One person takes the order and inputs it, rather than speaking with the chefs/cooks, then having two-three different people bringing the food to the table, it makes for a very impersonal experience as well as the appearance that no one really cares how the meal looks or if the customer has any concerns. Very disappointing meal! I would not recommend this restaurant.

Veel keuze qua eten en drinken, aardig personeel, snel. Lekker eten, grote porties. Neem vooral geen wijn dat is overal erg duur.

Atmosphere was nice, staff was friendly however, the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered a ribeye but it was over cooked & paper thin for $40. Felt like a Waffle House steak.
