Founding Farmers, le Greenest Restaurant à Washington, appartient à plus de 40.000 familles d'agriculteurs du NDFU. Sa nourriture et ses boissons sont inspirées de la cuisine américaine et tout est confectionné de A à Z.

Bien que notre restaurant est alimenté par des centaines de fermes familiales, cela ne veut pas dire que nous connaissons chaque ferme, et cela ne signifie pas que nous ne devons pas acheter des produits de la chaîne d'approvisionnement traditionnelle, toutefois nous nous efforçons d’aligner nos dépenses avec nos valeurs fondamentales.
Nous servons la meilleure nourriture possible, faite de A à Z dans nos cuisines quotidiennement. Nos plats américains, innovants sont principalement fais avec des ingrédients du terroir, honorant les agriculteurs et leur travail.

Our server Megan was fabulous! The cocktails with the distillery products were awesome! Food was a good value. We would definitely recommend the experience. Even though we didn’t get any, the homemade candies looked amazing!

The service after being seated was not good. Approximately 15 minutes wait for water. Food was good.

There were six of us and the service was a little slow & plates & cornbread were not cleared b4 dinner was served. Food & drinks were great with no issues. Overall very enjoyable and I would go back. The servers were working hard, they just might need a little more support.

I have eaten at this wonderful DC eatery for breakfast before and looked forward to today. Though the restaurant was very busy we were seated fifteen minutes early! Attentive waiter, for sure and plate of biscuits soon emerged. We then had to wait an hour and ten minutes for our brunch. As I was facing the street I could see many many outgoing orders fly out the door during our wait and it was obvious where the kitchen’s efforts went. Quite inexcusable. We had 2:15 hours before our train and we barely made it there in time. Did we eat? Yes; make our train, indeed but it didn’t have to be this way. 1:10 for French Toast and 3 egg dishes doesn’t have to take the time it did. Beware.

For brunch it is about a half step up from ihop. If that’s what you’re looking for, it’s serviceable but the food is not impressive or interesting and the service was slow.

While I had a reservation, my party of 3 had to wait about 10-15 minutes. Once we were seated, our waiter came over, introduced himself and stated he would give a few minutes to decide our drink order. True to his word he came back promptly and took our drink order. We later ordered our meals which all were delicious. The manager, Pretty Ricky, checked in on us frequently as did our waiter. Once we asked for the bill, Pretty Ricky, stated he comped two items as an apology since we had to wait for our table. This was an unexpected surprise and of course very appreciative! I don’t live in DC but I usually visit Founding Farmers when in town. I highly recommend and it’s always a nice touch when the restaurant goes above and beyond of an expectation.
