Josiah was a great host. We enjoyed his knowledge and recommendations. The Kyoto in Seattle was wonderfully refreshing. The anticipation of walking behind the bookcase was an amazing surprise! Awesome speakeasy. We'll definitely recommend to visitors.

I love taking customers and people visiting from out of town here. The hidden bookshelf door is so always a crowd pleaser!

The “speakeasy” experience was fun with the hidden bookshelf door and dark interior. Service was impeccable and drinks were well made. Only negative we had was that they kept the service door open behind the bar which flooded the room with fluorescent light and if you were sitting at the bar your entire evening was spent looking at shelves of bottles and supplies. I’m sure is is easier for the servers to keep it open but really detracts from the experience.

Nice atmosphere, great drinks. Service wasn’t what we expected for a birthday but we’ll be back for the ambiance.
