                    Lovely atmosphere, nice and quiet to have dinner with family and friends. Amazing service and good tasty food. Would definitely recommend and come back.

However, we do remove the service charge upon request, provided this is communicated at the time of payment.                     Didn’t realise this was located inside the Curio by Hilton in St Paul’s. Empty except one table and two bar tables. Drab service with serving staff (lady) who had no knowledge of what was placed in front of us. My Food - French onion soup was excellent! The main ribeye steak was horrid and my leaving 3/4 of it didn’t prompt said drab staff to ask if things were ok or not, she merely collected plates and walked away. My husband - asparagus with poached egg followed by duck breast. He thoroughly enjoyed his food. Our wine finished, no one bothered to come ask if a top up was required. Plus point - lovely interior but too many negatives about this prevent me from wanting to go back! No ambience, no atmosphere, nearest toilets were M/F shares which I cannot abide!!

                    Terrible. Do NOT eat here. For a start, the full menu is apparently not available weekends for lunch—despite no warning about this. Luckily (or so we thought) the brunch menu has some main items. “Caesar” salad was lettuce, dressing and chicken. No bacon. No croutons. No cheese. Duck salad was inedible. Limp, oily, with unidentifiable, chewy strands of deep-fried meat amongst lurid squares of pale watermelon. Five staff wandering about, noisily polishing flatware in the bar instead of out back. And being similarly loud setting tables for no one (three tables for lunch when we sat). We paid and left as soon as possible.

                    If you are looking for a wonderful breakfast with great décor and quiet enough to speak business or gather your thoughts, then definitely book here. My only reason for reducing the stars was because arrival was not as welcoming as I had expected. It is part of a hotel and despite saying I have a booking, I was bombarded by two people asking if I am a guest of the hotel in not a very welcoming manner. Such a shame because the quality of the food was wonderful and a great quiet spot for business individuals to have breakfast or to switch off before a busy day. I will try again in the future and see if just an anomaly. I hope so because I could definitely see this becoming my new favourite.
