Forty Dean Street is the pinnacle of affordable Italian cuisine in busy Soho. We are a small, family run restaurant dedicated to providing incredible food at incredible prices. Our set menu boasts a variety of sensational dishes built around fresh, seasonal produce and has customers coming back on a daily basis. Our à la carte menu is a favourite with our regulars, the media crowd and tourists alike.
Italian food has been served at Forty Dean Street for more than 17 years, so we like to think there’s nothing we haven’t mastered. So pop in for an Aperol Spritz!

The food was really good lots of choice and all cooked really well. Loved the seafood linguine would definitely recommend this dish. The atmosphere is great and the place has a real buzz about it, staff great. Only criticism was that I felt we were rushed we had only had the menus a few minutes when a member of staff came back to take our order it just felt a bit pressured.

Outstanding food and service on an easy paced relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be looking to revisit on our next trip to London.

Forty Dean Street is a true gem. The ambiance is a glow in the evening with a buzzing clientele. The menu is thoughtfully chosen with something for everyone. We enjoyed a blood orange martini prepared with excellence. The perfect pre-dinner cocktail. At our table we found the appetizer of Tempura courgette flower filled with ricotta, truffle paste and a honey drizzle to be a delight to the palate! I ordered the Linguine with tiger prawns, garlic, chilli and extra virgin olive oil, while my dining partner enjoyed his Roast Scottish salmon fillet, served with mussels, asparagus, pancetta and prosecco velouté. Both were excellent along with the suggested bottle of wine from our waitstaff. Perfect night out!

We couldn't fault 40 Dean Street for food, wine, atmosphere or service. Charming servers and excellent value for money. It should be noted that access for people with knee problems is difficult and there is no accessible loo.

The food is delicious and the plates are big. We are in a party of 5 , though a bit squashed; but the food, ambience and service was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I come to this restaurant often and it is always good. However the lobster spaghetti was not up to its usual excellent standard - normally there is loads of lobster in the spaghetti but yesterday it was a tiny bit substandard – I wonder whether this was because it was a Monday? Anyhow, it was still enjoyable and we had a lovely girls lunch together.
