Forty Dean Street is the pinnacle of affordable Italian cuisine in busy Soho. We are a small, family run restaurant dedicated to providing incredible food at incredible prices. Our set menu boasts a variety of sensational dishes built around fresh, seasonal produce and has customers coming back on a daily basis. Our à la carte menu is a favourite with our regulars, the media crowd and tourists alike.
Italian food has been served at Forty Dean Street for more than 17 years, so we like to think there’s nothing we haven’t mastered. So pop in for an Aperol Spritz!

Really pleasant evening. Nice staff, good food and reasonable prices. I didn’t love my pork belly main course, hence 4* rather than 5*, but everything else I had was lovely and mu dinner partner also had the pork and he loved it, so it could be just me. Overall a really positive experience and I will definitely go back.

A lovely Italian Restaurant with excellent quality dishes and great staff. Good portions of food too. Left very full but satisfied.

Fabulous lunch , delicious food my lobster spaghetti was epic and the pistachio tiramisu omg yummy light and decadent . A very relaxed not rushed atmosphere , a lovely hum of conversation but not intrusive . Thoroughly enjoyed it . We shall be back

Really enjoyed our visit to 40 Dean Street. We had courgette flower to start which was delicious, very light crisp tempura and delicious flavour, well seasoned. We also had mushrooms, which were tasty, but I’d have like more seasoning in these. The bread was good, focaccia and the oil and balsamic good quality. For mains we had parmigiana and mushroom gnocchi. We were too full for pudding but had a nice espresso and a complimentary limoncello. Bubbly atmosphere very busy which was nice, the service was good.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating my husband’s birthday! Having just come back from Sicily it was great to enjoy the excellent food and the stuffed courgette flower was absolutely delicious! Thank you we will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed the food. Appetizers were terrific. Service was inconsistent but overall a positive experience. Ambience was great. Walkable to theatres and close to the tube

This is just a wonderful independent restaurant - in the heart of soho. The staff are charming and the food is always outstanding. Have been to this restaurant several times and we always leave with a smile on our faces.
