Pam was a fantastic guide for our evening out with business colleagues/friends. She answered every question thoroughly and efficiently—and there were many questions due to dietary restrictions. The interior is well done and polished, the food was delicious, the cocktails were nicely elevated, and the service was excellent.

Great time at Fortu celebrating my husbands birthday! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time! Food was amazing especially the bao buns!

We had a party of 4. The wine list is limited however they will allow you to bring your wine with a corkage fee. We went directly to wine instead of cocktails. So order the cold dishes-appetizers first because the kitchen will bring out whatever appetizers or dinners regardless of how you would prefer to eat them. And then order your hot foods after your cold appetizers come. We had the tuna tacos and the tuna appetizers-they were okay. We enjoyed the sashimi type dish for appetizers. Dinner-skip the chicken-but definitely get the ribeye and Chilean sea bass in miso. We enjoyed the fried rice and mixed reviews of the noodles. The side items were a large portion so if there are only 2 people then just order 1 side item.

This was my 3rd time at Fortu, and it was great. We had a great server, the food and drinks were delicious.

At this price point, you expect top-of-the-line service which we did not receive. We are never informed that food just came out as it was ordered. We ended up with the main course sides, salads on the table at once. I ordered my steak, medium rare, and it definitely came out rare. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I have been wanting to try Fortu for a while now and so glad we finally did. The food was excellent and the ribeye was one of the best we’ve ever had. Also had the orange chicken, waygu gyoza, carrots and the Mille feuille. Everything was excellent! Highly recommend!

My wife and I were very pleasantly surprised with how masterful every course of our meal was. It was our first visit and we had the prix fixe menu of four courses so that we could try a wider selection of the menu's offerings. Each dish for each course was spectacular. The food was perfectly cooked and presented with artistic flair. The seasoning levels, flavor profiles and textures were outstanding. This was overall one of the best meals we have had in St. Petersburg and the greater Tampa Bay area over the last decade-plus. BTW, the Ube Cheesecake was one of the most fabulous expressions of cheesecake we have ever had. Our server and the broader service team were also exceptional. The service team is extremely knowledgeable about the menu, appropriately energetic about the menu offerings, and checked on us / refilled drinks / cleared finished items proactively and with excellent timing. We look forward to many happy returns and view this restaurant as having achieved a level of experience comparable to several Michelin-starred restaurants in which we have dined around the world. Highly, highly recommended.
