Forte dei Marmi freshly procures and skillfully prepares the highest quality local organic produce, farm-raised prime meats, and wild-caught seafood and fish. With his worldwide experience, Andrea Reitano and his Chef, brings together the sophisticated simplicity of Italian fine dining with slow food culture. lol servers suck took us forever to get our table after being there for a hour and food was pretty good

This is the most overrated restaurant. Considering the prices and our bill, our dining experiences was lackluster and mediocre, from preparedness for our reservation and food. We were a 5 top seated at a 4 top table although we had reservations and larger tables were available. The had to bring out a table extension because the table was small and crowded. Additionally we had to wait 15 minutes standing in the middle of the restaurant with no direction from staff for them to set up our table. Topping it off, all of pastas came out cold. The only saving grace was our main server/sommelier who was excellent. But you can tell that the majority of service staff is not on par with him. Honestly just go to Carbone or Cipriani instead of here.

Our Dover sole came out cold. The prices are over the top. Dove sole $100? Pasta $69? Way overpriced. I won’t go back.

We had a reservation for 7:45. When we arrived there was a line at the front so we only reached the hostess around 8:00. She told us the table wasn’t ready yet so asked us to wait by the bar. We stood there with everyone else who had a reservation until almost 8:30. No one would tell us when the table would be ready and they proceeded to seat other parties before us because they said we were late. (We stood in line with everyone else that had a reservation) Once we were seated it only got worse. The service was terrible, they served us wine in dirty glasses, and hardly cared when we asked for new ones. And by the time the check came the total was ridiculous for just mediocre food.

We had arrived early, staying at the hotel next-door when we arrived. There was no sitting at the tables we asked for a table. The somewhat snobby hostess refused to see us saying all the tables are reserved and there’s no way you can get in! They do not seat without a reservation, so I turned around made a reservation on OpenTable and we got a seat. The food was wonderful if you were worried about price this is not the place for you. We split an entrée a salad and a dessert couple glasses of wine and we are looking at $450. I didn’t care for the fact that they already included the tip for two people.
