Please note we do not take reservations for our Patio outdoors, it is first come first serve. We also operate on a 90 minute dine time for the entire restaurant. Thank you for your corporation

For Our Gluten Free Diners please make reservations for gluten free dough. In our effort to serve the best and safest quality product our gluten free is available in limited supply, we strive to always have it available sometimes demand is greater and we do run out.

Pizza in Napoli is soft and foldable and can be considered “wet” by American standards. For this reason, people in Napoli generally eat their pizza with a knife and fork. Blackened char spots on the pizza crust is a tell–tale sign of Pizza Napoletana that has been cooked in a blistering hot, wood-burning oven.

Delicious pizza and salumeria. Highly recommend. Gluten free pizza has to be pre-order but as long as you check in with them, they will prep the dough.

Had a wonderful time at Forno Rosso… food was delicious. We all had individual pizzas… the focaccia bread was highly recommended and it did not disappoint. Service was great. Had a wonderful server. Everything was prompt and hot!

We've gone to the Elmwood Park/Harlem Ave location twice recently and can't help to compare the menus, service and ambiance to the West Loop location. George's welcoming smile and friendly disposition aside, there were basic differences that were glaring. West Loop didn't offer any specials. The appetizer selection is very limited. They didn't have any non alcoholic beers or spirits. The Margherita pizza, one of three pizzas we ordered, left much to be desired. There was way too much fresh mozzarella. It wasn't the simple, basic and delicious Margherita we've had before and loved. The Rosso Cavallo and two Pistachio Pesto & Sausage pizzas were superior and exceeded our expectations. We reserved a 5th gluten free dough for dessert intended for the fried dough with Nutella and ice cream. We've had this numerous times at Harlem Ave and loved it each time. West Loop didn't offer it on the menu because, unbeknownst to us, they don't have a deep fryer. The server suggested against the Nutella pizza as an alternative because gluten free dough doesn't rise, in his opinion. We left it there despite the fact we just had 4 gluten free pizzas to evidence their gluten free dough rises and rises perfectly. Was it a disappointing end to a mediocre experience? Yes. Will we return to the West Loop location? Absolutely. It appeared West Loop's better days were behind them. As long as the doors remain open, a few minor changes could return this location to its former glory. Forno Rosso arguably has the best gluten free pizza in town. It's indistinguishable to Napolitano style pizza we've come to know and love. If you have a gluten intolerance, try it for yourself and be amazed.
