We are local and have been to Formosa several times however this time was very disappointing. Atmosphere was very nice and people were nice. It was the entree that we had the problem with. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and I ordered the chicken sandwich. The chicken was burnt to a crisp. It was hard to cut through it or bite through it. I am in the food industry and really don’t like to complain about our food but mentioned it to the server just so she could let the cook know that they may want to cook it a little less in future orders. We had waited a little bit for our food and didn’t want to wait longer for another plate so we attempted to eat it. In the mean time someone else was walking past tables asking how things were (I’m assuming a manager) and we pointed it out to her also. She was very apologetic and said she would take care of it. A while later when the server came to clear plates and ask how everything was I said the side salad was good and my husband’s waffle was good but we just could not chew through the chicken. She did remove a beer from our tab which we appreciated because we really weren’t looking for something free but in my opinion they should have removed the chicken. Especially when you are paying $22 for a chicken sandwich and $22 for chicken and waffles. I would have had no problem paying for what we could eat and I would have tipped the server for what the full bill would have been as it is not her fault how the food was cooked. Again I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to be “that” person. I just feel it is something they should have rectified on there own without someone having to ask. We paid the bill and left.

So yummy! Wine and food was great! Drew was very nice and accommodating. We had a great time!

10/10!!! I can’t wait to come back next month!! Everything was just wonderful from the service, to the food, to the environment!! I’m obsessed!

Food was really tasty, well seasoned and delicious. Drinks were great. Ambiance was quiet and relaxing. We went on a Wednesday for brunch to celebrate for my birthday and it was a great choice. Very lowkey just how I like it.

It’s a cute spot ; the price definitely adds up when you decide to do the wine dispenser . But overall just ok place

The food was lack luster because my chicken with chicken and waffles was seasoned well, but the chicken breast was rubbery , due to cook it too quickly!! The flat beard looked better than it taste. Also, someone in my party had the chicken and waffles and her stomach was messed up after eating it. Also, someone in my party flat bread edges was too burnt . The glitter mimosas were Awesome. The mark was Definitely missed on this visit. I can’t say , that I will return to visit again.
