Forked on Main is a casual contemporary eatery, located in the historic Sparks building on Main Street in Orange, VA. Walk in the door and you’re instantly faced with the hostess stand and a decision – a fork in the road. Take a right and you enter a light-filled dining room that can seat couples, families or even private parties. Take a left, and you’re ensconced in the lounge, perfect for a casual mid-day coffee, a happy hour drink with co-workers or a night out on Main Street with friends.

We had a little something to celebrate and our wine pairing meal at Forked was perfect. The food & wine were excellent. Always a little different in a good way.

We started with strawberry and spinach salad. With goats cheese, this is an excellent appetizer. Then I had salmon with Yukon potatoes, and it was excellent. Grilled carrots, too. Yum yum. Our server, Liberty, took good care of us.

Nice place. Professional atmosphere and service. Excellent food. Long delay for dessert, which was poor quality and not worth the wait. Disappointing ending to a pleasant dinner out.

The food was good. Tables are too, too close together. We had to listen to the loud couple’s conversation sitting next to us. Very annoying to not be able to enjoy our dinner.

We hosted a celebratory lunch and they made sure we were well taken care of! It’s our favorite Orange restaurant and we are sad to no longer have a boy in the area! This is a must eat in town!

The beignets were hard not much taste, the crab Benedict eggs not cooked well and potatoes hard and undercooked. The Creme brûlée was runny and hadn’t jelled. Pribably won’t come back.
