You won't find a neighborhood restaurant anywhere close to Greenville doing what chef Shawn Kelly set out to do: provide both neighbors and visitors alike the Upstate's freshest and most plentiful meats, produce, and products, both as a dine-in and carryout option.

This concept supports the idea that farmers and chefs can make a living supplying a community with its daily necessities, while also encouraging enjoyment of a simple meal of a sandwich or steak, chop, or bake.

Just imagine: Wednesdays become your favorite lunch day of fresh and locally-sourced soups and salads with a friend. This is our GO TO spot. We haven’t had a single dish here that we didn’t love. Everything is made fresh DAILY! The menu is always changing with some dishes that are just SO good, they can’t take off the menu. Drinks are top tier, apps are portioned well, and entrées are unmatched. Trust me when I say your money is well spent if you choose this place. They have art for sale from local artists of their choosing that hang on the walls weekly and the ambiance is absolutely perfect if you choose to have a date night, girls night out, family gathering or even choosing to take a seat at the bar! This place truly makes you feel like you’re home.

We love eating here. But on this day, brunch fell short of expectations, which we hosted for our family for my husband's birthday. I had the aleppo sausage omelet which had very, very little of what the omelet was supposed to have. My husband had the sweet corn pancakes which was delicious, except the candied bacon was not fully cooked. Normally, we give a 5/5.

I love that the menu is always changing and unique. Food is great and service is wonderful! It’s a casual neighborhood place, and is usually quite busy.

For all the fuss, disappointed. My guest ordered brunch with biscuits and gravy and the gravy was cold, not hot. My potato /onion latkes were coarse, not butter or jam options for the biscuits.

Sometimes Fork and Plough knocks it out of the park, sometimes it's a disappointing dribbler to first. Late night we had a reservation. Got there 5 minutes early, hostess said it would be 15 minutes. We sat at the bar and 20 minutes later two couples had been seated before us. We had to take a high top in the bar that the hostess wiped down and left wet. I had to dry the table and seats, while other people had our table. Our apps came late, and 30 seconds before our entees. There was no balance in the peach salad, too bitter w/o sweetness. The beets/pistachios/bleu cheese/blueberries was not appealing, more of a disjointed, incohesive bowl of cereal toppings. The burger was ok, a little dry. Service also lacked cohesion with different people waiting on us. By the time a server asked about dessert I'd lost interest. I would love to give F&P a higher rating, but it's too inconsistent.

Food is always outstanding there. Gets a little loud right about 7 but its worth the noise for the service and amazing food
