You won't find a neighborhood restaurant anywhere close to Greenville doing what chef Shawn Kelly set out to do: provide both neighbors and visitors alike the Upstate's freshest and most plentiful meats, produce, and products, both as a dine-in and carryout option.

This concept supports the idea that farmers and chefs can make a living supplying a community with its daily necessities, while also encouraging enjoyment of a simple meal of a sandwich or steak, chop, or bake.

Just imagine: Wednesdays become your favorite lunch day of fresh and locally-sourced soups and salads with a friend. Then you get a favorite bottle of wine to bring home, coupled with carefully chosen side dishes and the best burgers and fresh Carolina seafood in Greenville to throw on the grill. I recently dined at Fork & Plough and was thoroughly impressed. The Brussels sprouts were perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor. The beef Wellington was a highlight of the meal; the pastry was flaky and the meat, tender and rich. The lobster was succulent and beautifully presented. To top it off, the crème brûlée was divine - the perfect balance of creamy custard and crisp caramelized sugar. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommended for a special dining experience.”

Galentine dinner with my daughter. Amazing food and atmosphere. The staff made this place elevated above the rest! Love Fork & Plough.

We ordered crispy Brussel Sprouts as a starter, and it was very salty. When our server asked how it was, we told here it was way too salty and that’s why we ate very little. Her only response was that she would tell the chef, with no offer to adjust our bill or to bring another starter. My wife and I ordered the ribeye. It had a nice flavor but was loaded with fat throughout. Only about half of my wife’s steak was edible. My sister had earlier ordered shepard’s pie and said it was very salty as well, and she is a person who oversalts everything.

Drew at the bar is always great. Attentive and always personable. Even when he’s busy with drinks he doesn’t make us feel that we are an inconvenience. Always a great experience at Fork and Plough.

Halibut was dry, risotto was not impressive, overcooked fries, we were not able finish the meal. It doesn’t worth the value. Server was nice.

This was a great experience. Took my wife there before we went to a play. The food was delicious. It’s a little loud. This isn’t a critique more just for those wondering the environment there. It didn’t take away from the experience in my opinion.

Amazing experience and came recommended from friends and seeing Instagram postings. Food was perfectly seasoned, servers were excellent, knowledgable and attentive. The ambiance was something to take in - the walls decorated with personal artworks added a nice touch. Overall fantastic experience to be had in person.

An excellent meal. Creative menu, everything was super fresh. Generous portion sizes- I’ll order less next time so I can make it to dessert, which looked amazing!
