You won't find a neighborhood restaurant anywhere close to Greenville doing what chef Shawn Kelly set out to do: provide both neighbors and visitors alike the Upstate's freshest and most plentiful meats, produce, and products, both as a dine-in and carryout option.

This concept supports the idea that farmers and chefs can make a living supplying a community with its daily necessities, while also encouraging enjoyment of a simple meal of a sandwich or steak, chop, or bake.

Just imagine: Wednesdays become your favorite lunch day of fresh and locally-sourced soups and salads with a friend. Then you get a favorite bottle of wine to bring home, coupled with carefully chosen side dishes and the best burgers and fresh Carolina seafood in Greenville to throw on the grill. First time visitors for Sunday brunch. We had to wait a little while for our reserved seating. That part was okay. Upon being seated, ordering was quick, but it took 45 minutes to receive our food. When received, two of the meals were great (biscuits and gravy, Po boy sandwich), one was okay (grilled shrimp with soggy/undercooked fries), and one was practically inedible (doughy pancakes with a nice peach and pecan topping). Ironically, the undercooked meal was explained to us as the reason for the delay in getting our food! Our server did her best to accommodate and try to make things right. She reassured us that this was out of the ordinary and asked that we give the establishment a second try. Flavors were good but we remain undecided.

We made a reservation almost a month ago and we still waited for about 15 minutes. It took over 40 minutes before we received our food after ordering. The food was ok but we’ve definitely had better at other “farm to table” restaurants. The waitress was really nice.

We requested and were seated in the outdoor area hoping for a quieter atmosphere to catch up with friends The area was air conditioned and very cold. To accommodate my request, our server Morgan opened a window behind us to help which it did As the room filled, of course it was louder and became a better environment as expected It was our first visit to which we will had others. I hope to try their catering in the future

The sangria is to die for and a very generous pour. The food is outstanding and we had a hard time choosing due to their creative, enticing menu. Thank you for providing us with a wonderful brunch. PS we also loved our waiter!

Great Greek Salad, amazing Potato Bread and the Peach Cobbler a la mode is a must have. Our server, Luis, was the best!

Fork and Plough never disappoints. We were a dining out group of 6, most of us new to this restaurant. The always changing menu was a treat and there was something delicious for everyone. Our server was patient, prompt, and funny. Easy parking, seated right on time.

Do NOT miss a meal at Fork & Plough! We always dine at Fork & Plough whenever we are in Greenville, SC. Delicious food and outstanding service. The menu you change ls seasonally, but you can never go wrong. While the preparation changes, a tasty pork chop is a regular item. The appetizers, burgers, and salads are great. If oysters are on the menu, order some.
