Our server Peyton was excellent. Good was authentic Southern. Menu had good choices. Acoustics were very loud and restaurant was NOT crowded.

Customer service & the food were amazing! Even the drinks, alcoholic and nonalcoholic, did not disappoint. I’m definitely coming back.

The pros: The food here is superb. We ordered the snakehead tacos which were amazing! I ordered the filet salad and the beef tips were so tender and well seasoned--loved every bit of it. Had the key lime pie for dessert and I think it was better than any key lime pie we had in Key West. Seriously. The cons: I found it difficult to hear in this restaurant with friends we were dining with. The floors are bare so lots of sound bouncing around. The inside and outside of this restaurant are pretty basic, and that did not bother me at all, however, if you are looking for ambiance you won't find it here, but you will find amazingly delicious food. We had a very friendly server who really did his best to get us what we needed, but I think he was quite busy, and we found ourselves looking for him for the check, and for refills of water. Again, not a deterrence to us to us going back, because we enjoyed the food so much. Will definitely be back to try the shrimp and grits, and the chicken and waffle. Great southern food menu. So glad North East MD has a restaurant with food of this caliber!

Delicious and fresh, spiced perfectly. Shrimp and grits are a go to! The pimento, chicken cheese dip was wonderful.

If you’re second guessing…look no further! This place is 5 stars across the board. Great food and good vibes! Customer service is top tier. Can’t wait to go back and try the ribs!

The wait time for meals was a bit lengthy but the food was well worth the wait! Service & hospitality of servers was awesome. Will be returning midweek for a girl's lunch date!

FORGE SOUTHERN COMFORT - mixed food quality, loud, pricey We chose this eatery and it was our first experience—-it got mixed reviews. While we didnt need it for a 5pm reservation, we made an Open Table reservation. We were seated promptly and Colby was our attentive and personable server. The menu had entrees priced from $20 to $48. My partner got the Filet Mignon at $43 but it was not as good as Steak & Main for a dollar difference. I got the fried Pork Tenderloin ($28) and it was tasty with a tangy sauce. My sweet potato mash was very good but the brussel sprouts were an undercooked disaster. The dining ambiance is loud and was only made worse by a perty of 16 where a 3 year old was allowed to run around the table like a rodeo. I doubt that we will return as there are too many better options in the area for our dining dollar.

Don't let the modest exterior fool you. There is some first-class cooking going on in this place. The food is elevated, delicious, generously portioned and reasonably priced. We tried the stuffed shrimp, chicken and waffles, and barbecued ribs. All were excellent. This is our new favorite restaurant in the area.

Derrell our server was top notch. The chicken and waffles were superior as well as portion. Wings were delicious as was bell pepper crab soup. Bravo! Decibels were high as it was a Saturday night.
