Drawing inspiration from the region’s history and natural surroundings, the 156-seat freestanding restaurant reflects elemental themes of wood, water, iron, and fire, reminiscent of the carriage houses and blacksmith shops that once dotted the landscape. The centerpiece of Forge & Vine is an eight-foot wood fired grill and open kitchen with counter seating where guests can enjoy dinner while interacting with the chef. Welcoming residents as well as visitors to the area, Forge & Vine offers a strong sense of place with a design sensibility that brings in the outside with floor to ceiling windows offering breathtaking pastoral views of Gibbett Hill. The restaurant boasts spacious and casual bar with service inside and out and features classic and comfortable cuisine sourced from the best produce, seafood, and meats that New England offers.

Beautiful place, wonderful servers, bad and overpriced food unfortunately. Very good intend for the food, but poor execution.

Fantastic atmosphere. Modern, open kitchen design. Our waiter Shawn was 100% on point. Place closed @ 9 but we were there until almost 10:30. Didn’t realize the time because the staff was so respectful and kind. Truly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Didn’t break the wallet either, priced very well for what you receive! A+

Main course (Duck and Steak) was poorly cooked and like warm at best. Service and ambience was good - but need to deliver on the food quality. Likely won’t return

As usual, food was delicious , cooked to our specification and to perfection and service was outstanding. Thank you, Robert, for serving us with such grace and knowledge and warmth, certainly adding to the ambiance of this charming restaurant.

Food was ok. Service was ok. The AC was blowing on me but was then shut off. Crowd was really noisy. Didn't like the dessert choices. My brother in law, who eats anything would love this place.My husband and I are not likely to come back.

This is our go to restaurant for celebrations. The food was outstanding with special note to the calamari, the rib eye for two and the corn bread. the service was excellent. The server was very attentive. In my opinion, Forge and Vine is the best restaurant in our area.
